Having recently gotten my first synth items, I realized how difficult it is to actually, well, get synth items.
So here's the suggestion: synth items for completed threads. The longer the thread, the better the items. The better the quality of the thread, the better the items. So if it's heckuva long and really darn neat, you can nab yourself (maybe) an orichalum. If it's really long but kinda short on the word count and spell check, maybe you'll get yourself a few tier one items - like a bag blazing crystals and so on.
Thoughts? :3

Sounds like a good idea to me.
Though if you really think about it, how many threads actually get finished?

Well the staff WANTS to encourage it, but I don't think anyone has stepped forward to claim the November compelted threads prize munny yet. XD
Would synth materials be a good incentive to help stimulate completion of threads? B/c I'd be more than willing to make up a chart for their distribution that way if people would be more likely to finish what they start.

See Ryu? Seeeeee?I totally did not answer Bilby's question. Honestly I don't know, I think the 50 munny reward helped - but how much, I'm not entirely sure. *_*
Should a poll be created on this question? I don't think it'd hurt to try to implement it, but I see where you're coming from if you think that it won't have an affect on activity at all.

Quest Master's opinion FTW!
I'm all for it. My reason? Well the way it stands is that the only way for synthesis items to be gained is via completion of events and quests (by events I mean contests and such). Some of these things take a long time, and some never get finished. Granted, many rps here tend to die off before they can be completed, but if you think about it there is one major difference between what Dei is suggesting, and what is currently in place.
And that is the number of people who can get synthesis items. Sure contests, quests, and plots can include multiple people, but honestly, they rarely go over six people, which still isn't that large a number. And another thing to consider is the fact that a lot of these things are frequented by certain people, giving others less opportunities to earn synthesis materials. So implementing a system in which everyone can get these materials just by completing a thread gives everyone a chance to get them. If people don't get them while this system is in play, then I suppose it's only because they or the person(s) they were rping with let the thread die.
That's my two cents. If this doesn't get put into play I want a refund.

So, to sum up the general feelings of the suggestion...
"Synthesis Materials aren't getting handed out enough. This is because Quests are sloooooooooooooooooooow and Events are rare. Can we get Materials for completing threads?"
If so, my vote's in on this one. Otherwise, no one's using the Moogle Shop. @____@ (I totally want to buy the Crystal Crown Equip in there. You can only get it via synthesis! >X3)

Suggestion approved by administration. We will begin work on a system shortly.
Thank you, and have a nice day.
