I propose a thread in the announcements (or somewhere they might be seen) where members can post links to open threads that they have written so that people don't have to search everywhere for a thread that might need someone to post in it. I have seen other sites do the same thing, and I feel that it works quite well (howling lions is a good example).
Doth anyone agree or object to such an idea?
(lol I know I'm staff but I don't want to start something no one will use)

Agreed. It'd work like the ads section of a newspaper.
I mean classifieds.
And it'd streamline the process of finding RP partners, assuming people remember to take down their posts on that thread once they've got all the partners they need.
But it'd leave the current place for posting "RP W/ M3 PLZ" stuffies to Quest Sign Ups only.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Regardless, I do hereby declare that this suggestion is made of WIN!
