This is a note of dire emergency from the world of Guarding Castle. I won't waste your time claiming the glories of our world and its advancements. Despite our recent gains in technology and our capability of magic we are below average, all the more reason we need your help. For a long time now, we've been fighting a war on two fronts between those beasts you may know as 'heartless', the shade-bugs, and the very world itself. There is not much that can be said, here in note, beyond the desperate plea for your help. Should no one respond, I fear that our home may be lost to either the shadows, or the trees and stones themselves.

By Guarding Castle Ordinance X079, Found in the official Charter of the Guarding Castle Champion Corps:
"Whensoever dire need dictates the necessity for additional troops as cannot be supplied by the current militia leader in times of conflict (see: Chapter B of the Castle Assembly Member's Handbook to further understand what constitutes a 'dire need' and 'conflict') soldiers outside of the current militia, such as mercenaries, bounty hunters, freelancers of varying types, etc., may be drafted and deputized for the purpose of bolstering Guarding Castle forces in the doing of specialized tasks.
A budget-based stipulation between the Castle Assembly and the Guarding Castle Champion Corps is currently in effect which may or may not alter the finalized fee determined appropriate for services rendered.
