The Mercio family owned many estates in the city Eltnam. None so grand as their wayward country manor - but it is there that the site of a most tragic turn of events occurred.
The arrogance of the head decides the fate of the entire household. Five hundred years ago, the young Mercio family head dabbled in forbidden magic and as a result, his entire household was cursed. Cursed to life without life - undeath - for his mistake.
He is their master and they do not blame him for it...at least peripherally. Who knows what hidden grudges and resentment reside in his relatives and servants. Further to their undeath, they are also unable to leave the premises of the manor. It seems that their estate has been taken out of the flow of time and space, then placed in its own isolated forevermore. Only the young head may, for reasons unknown, enter and leave the premise of his own will - he frequently takes trips out to find more about the nature of the curse and the means to reverse it.
Suddenly, lost outsiders find themselves stumbling onto the rip in time that stands the Mercio Manor - while the young master is out. They are welcomed as guests - but for what reason? What secrets does this manor, isolated for half a millennium, hold? What purpose drives those who reside in it? And what tragedy will befall when the young master returns?

This may be more of a Quest, but preferring development over gains. I'll be needing some volunteers to play the outsiders AND to play some of the Mercio staff/family.
