(I'm super tired right now, while I rewrite these abilities. So they're probably going to sound weird or wutevur. I'm sorrryyyy for whoever looks over this. I feel like I'm putting a lot of statistic into it.

I'm doing some changing to the ability format that I initially had setup with Lysander, as well as completely redoing his Physical Speed oriented ability. So, to put it into perspective...
Changes are:

Uses: 5 Turns per Battle
Uses: 1 per Battle, 4 Turn Penalty

This is one of three interrelated abilities that act as Lysander's base stats for his telekinesis. It represents the speed portion; or in other words, how quickly he can make something move from point a to point b. Before both strength and handling, speed is by far the most straightforward of the three interlinking abilities. Whatever he chooses to lift moves at roughly fifteen to twenty miles per hour whether moving a large tree out of a dirt road path, or a wave of sand into the eyes of an opposing force.[/blockquote]
Uses: Passive.
By focusing, Lysander simply reduces his range to the pre-established standards to double his speed. What else can you say?[/blockquote]
Uses: 5 More Turns
By focusing Lysander receives the predetermined penalty to his strength and handling upon activation in order to greatly increase the speed of his telekinesis, and get an added bonus through this.
Put simply, he can now move objects up to bullet speeds. Easy enough to understand. For that added zing, Lysander can now manipulate anything that's moving and move it faster: and this is primarily focused on waves. Not just one kind of wave, either. He can accelerate pre-existing light and sound waves, accelerate the flow of tidal and air currents (or just about anything that can flow), and so on. The cowboy cannot affect character's persons without their consent, and cannot move something that isn't already in motion. This ability is designated solely to move things that are already in motion (regardless of how slow that might be).[/blockquote]

I'm doing some changing to the ability format that I initially had setup with Lysander, as well as completely redoing his Physical Speed oriented ability. So, to put it into perspective...
Changes are:
- Wrote 2x Ability Introductions (these themselves are not abilities, but explain the abilities that fall under them in more detail).
- Rewrote Boot Dust as Digging In The Spurs.
Stuff I have to pay for includes - 4 Ability Slots & 8 Upgrades with RP Discounts
A Magician of Note
Lysander is at his most basic sense, a telekinetic of the movement orientation. He doesn't crush things, he doesn't slow things down or speed them up, he doesn't release offensive pulses, or make bubbles of force around himself, levitating himself, all of things that are possible with telekinesis. Instead Lysander is capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, dropping, and influencing the trajectory of inanimate objects (inanimate objects is read as unrelated to other Player Characters persons, such as weapons, clothing, items, etc). Additionally, he can only lift loose material. He cannot pull supports out from beneath buildings, lift chunks of the earth out of place, or even pull wall paper off the walls. If you nail it down, he can't pick it up.
His raw talent, militant discipline, flexible upbringing, and life experiences have all culminated in the cultivation of the most dangerous telekinetic this forum has to offer.
Pick Me Up- Rotgut
- 1. Throwin' Back Shots:
This is one of three interrelated abilities that act as Lysander's base stats for his telekinesis. It represents the strength portion: or in other words the raw amount Lysander can lift, at any one point in time, upwards of 250 Pounds or roughly 110 Kilograms, while untrained and unfocused, and this weight can be distributed among as many objects as desired. In this state his range is 40 feet.
Uses: Passive
- 2. Throwin' Back Glasses:
By training, or conducting an object about with his hands (thus his guns are off limits during training), he can double his weight limit. Although this severely limits him in that he can only puppet his weapons, it certainly provides a bit more of a punch behind each blow. His range is reduced to ten feet.
(Note: Training is not individual between the three branches of telekinesis. In training one, he is effectively training all three.)
Uses: 5 Turns per Battle
- 3. Throwin' Back Bottles:
By focusing, or dropping all other telekinetic process to focus energies into strength, Lysander can incur a penalty of fifty percent to his handling and speed for four turns (starting as soon as the ability is initiated), to acquire a one turn burst that will allow him to reach a total strength of 1 Short Ton, or 2000 Pounds, roughly 910 Kilograms. He may not focus strength again in the same battle. In the turn that the burst is used he can only use his telekinesis on 1 target.
You may be asking yourself, why would he put himself in such a vulnerable position, just to acquire this amount of strength? The answer is simple. By focusing his strength Lysander's telekinesis is capable of affecting anything that poses resistance, effectively turning his movement telekinesis into something a little more intimidating. Although he can't move a character's person (or any cheap excuse like pulling on their shirt to move them), he could say affect loose articles or accessories that might be torn away from their person. And of course, all the other environmental, non-personal implications that follow.
Uses: 1 per Battle, 4 Turn Penalty
Strength: Strong
Notes: It is important to observe that Lysander doesn't necessarily have to fulfill his full weight limit with each lift, and in fact, he can consolidate weight as added force behind things he is already lifting.
Pick Me Up- Whiskey
- 1. One Too Many:
This is one of three interrelated abilities that act as Lysander's base stats for his telekinesis. It represents the handling portion: or in other words how precisely Lysander can move what he wants to move. It relates to all of the objects he is moving at any one point in time, and it's limits in amount are placed solely on how much Lysander can lift. However, more specific limitations are that in this state he cannot make sharp and angular movements, whether these movements are small, fine movements, or large, broad movements (the difference between fine and broad is as follows; broad is the action of bringing the glass to your lips, fine is the action of tilting the glass upwards so you may drink from it). All movements in this state must be smooth, and thus predictable, and sudden changes in direction are less capable.
You might be asking yourself then, what is even the point of this ability? It all lies in the fact that this portion makes a distinction between fine and broad movements. Some telekinetics overlook such small movements as a simple twisting motion in favor of advancing their broad abilities; Lysander has not only balanced both of these key aspects of movement, but mastered them. He can spin have a sword circle you while it spins and dances in the air. That is where the strength of this ability lies, by dividing and combining broad and fine movements to make some dangerous manipulations.
As with Rotgut his range is forty feet and other first level telekinesis limitations that have been listed apply.
Uses: Passive
- 2. Two Too Many:
By training Lysander reduces the range of his attacks greatly to increase his ability to handle, increase speed, and increase force by puppeting his weapons through the air with his hands. What this means for handling is that he can now do much more with what he carries than before. Sharp angular changes in direction are perfectly capable, and both broad and fine movements have increased capability.
The exact limitations that Lysander incurs are as follows: his total range is a ten foot radius, and he may only puppet about his weapons.
Uses: 5 More Turns
- 3. Three Too Many:
As with Rotgut, by focusing Lysander incurs a penalty to other areas of his telekinesis upon activation to greatly increase his ability to handle and guide. However, there are multiple key differences between this and Rotgut. While Rotgut is a one turn burst, Whiskey is a three turn mode, and whereas the strength-based ability focuses on only one object, Whiskey can touch three anything's per turn that it is active.
So what does the focused form of Whiskey do, you ask? Well the effects are very much like Rotgut in this regard. Firstly it greatly increases his ability to handle, in such a way that he could have something going full-speed (half-speed technically, because of the penalty) forward and in an instant, with no loss of momentum be moving backward. But, just as with Rotgut, there is a little added incentive to focus, beyond just receiving a penalty for something he can hardly use on its own. He extends his telekinesis to energy and other states of matter beyond solid and liquid. This means that he can redirect fireballs, beams of light, blasts of plasma, clouds of gas, et cetera. This is where Focused Whiskey's true strength lies.
Uses: 1 Per Battle, 3 Turn Length, 5 Turn Penalty
Strength: Strong
Notes: Keep in mind, this ability solely regards handling, and is made more useful by the coexistence with his strength and speed abilities. It is very important to keep in mind that each of these abilities are not only part of a bigger set, but individual, and should be looked at as individual.

A Gentleman of Renown
Lysander's physical abilities are often overlooked, partially because, at first glance, he is nothing impressive. His physical strengths are... subtle to the least, and as a primarily ranged combatant most often don't see his physical side. But not seeing and it not existing are two totally different things. Lysander has honed a set of mental powers complemented physical abilities that are undoubtedly without match for their purpose.
Digging In The Spurs
Lysander's advanced mental strength and physical abilities combine for two posts to allow him to move 10 times as fast as normal (For Example: A sprint could reach 200mph as his base speed is 20mph). This ability does not grant him excellent reflexive control over his body, or the awareness to be able to use this ability well, being an ability that focuses completely and unfalteringly on speed. Alone this ability is useless, essentially allowing him to run super fast with little to no control over his direction, or punch hundreds of times per minute with no ability to aim each punch.
Strength: Strong
Uses: 4 Per Battle, 3 Post Cooldown
Dead Aim
Lysander's natural alertness and heightened senses, with the aid of his telekinesis, make him attentive to the smallest goings on around him. In a fifty foot radius sphere, Lysander will be aware to the point of having eyes in all directions. Yet, there's a point where reason kicks in, and says, I disagree. Lysander cannot 'be aware' of what's happening through brick walls, beneath the ground or so on, unless there's some justifiable way that could be, like hearing noises through a window or smelling apple pies backing on the other side of the fence.
Strength: Strong
Uses: Passive
Trigger Finger
An ability after your own heart, this is Lysander's capability of reaction, the ability that has kept him alive for so long. Each and every one of his powers hinges on this ability, as does his continually growing score each week in the popular television show Jeopardy.
Our beloved cowboy has honed his mental and physical reflexes to understand information and make snap decisions at a masterful level, to the point that no matter what stress he's dealing with, his mental processes feel as if they're moving at the same pace. The physical side is just what you'd expect; snatching flies out of the air with chopsticks and whatnot.
So that's why he's so relaxed all the time.

[blockquote]Physical appearance ~ :
Lysander is somewhat tall in height at five feet and ten inches and weighs approximately one-hundred and ninety pounds. This has resulted in him being fairly lean, but the weight he does have is a large percentage of muscle. His arms and legs appear particularly long because of how lean and cut his body is. In overall top to bottom shape his body is lithe and smoothly connected, the same sort of feel as a snake where everything just flows together. His body almost seems feminine in it's lean curves and it weren't for his obvious muscular definition he'd likely be mistaken for female a lot more.
Lysander has thinly set eyes with red irises, giving him a semi-permanent cold and ruthless expression. His black hair is parted down the center, leaving two bangs to fall loosely to either side of his face and the rest of it's abnormally straight length is pulled back in a ponytail that reaches just past his shoulder blades. His ears have pointed tips and lobes, only adding to his sharp and hostile appearance.
Clothing/Accessories ~ :
Lysander has a fairly unique wardrobe to be sure, with two general outfit styles that usually fall under the same color schemes and pieces of clothing. Either his traveling style or his settling style. Conceptually very simple, he wears a certain style of clothing for whether he is on the move or hunkered down in a particular place for the time being.
When on the road, as it were, Lysander wears tight and comfortable clothing that isn't likely to get in his way should he need to any particular activity. His t-shirt is Navy blue with a zipper down the front, and two thick white lines (one horizontal and one vertical) that meet over his heart. The cross is outlined in silver, giving an otherwise bland shirt a bit of flash. He wears a loose pair of black pants that just start to get baggy towards the shin, but even back out as they reach his ankle. Down one side of the pants he has thick silver markings that resemble the smooth and spiked nature of the Nobodies. The pants are belted just above his hips, and a second belt with several square pouches hanging off it hangs loosely around his waist.
When moving about whatever place he may be calling home at the time Lysander goes more for a personal comfort and appearance based wardrobe. This often results in him moving about shirtless, with only occasionally an open fronted jacket or long coat. His pants are usually more slim and form fitting than his regular traveling pants, and he usually wears three or four belts around his waist in addition to the one going through the belt loops. The clothing is usually fairly plain in design and ranges from gold and red to brown and black in color.
Despite the chosen outfit, Lysander often has a pair of sunglasses and a cowboy hat with the sides of the brim pulled up.
Lysander has several tattoos scattered around his body, a pair of butterflies resting on the line of his hip, three stars on the back of his right hand, and four Jacks (playing cards) across his shoulders

Behavior ~ :
Lysander is mature for his years, maybe because of the tragedy that has befallen him in past lives. He has seen many horrifying things, still suffering from them to this day. Even so, he likes to see the smiles of others, and above all things he values the peace and happiness of people.
Like a man with regrets, Lysander has many issues, and when a fight rears its head, he will always defend the party who he feels must be justly represented. He has no problem allying himself with someone less trustworthy to fight a common enemy, and he will not have qualms fighting with those who may have once been his allies. During trying times, he is a very serious and somewhat solemn figure, whose responsibilities supersede his own happiness or safety.
Lysander is constantly seeking atonement for his sins, and so has delegated himself as a defender of people, of innocence and of happiness. He sees nothing in the sides of light and dark or anything in between, and refuses stoutly to join one organization or another.
His freedom is greatly valued and his tendencies lean toward a sociable lone-wolf. He likes to joke, flirt, converse, and the like with just about anyone who'll have him. He is brave and dashing, but altogether distant.
And despite all of this, he is still a teenager, and in very many ways naive and innocent.

[blockquote]ID: The Six Spades
Quality: Average
This is a weapon set that consists of six individual weapons total, usually all of which are used in conjunction. More specifically, four hefty cleavers, colored silver, and made of an extremely durable material that is resistant to both weathering and impact. No matter how hard these cleavers smack against a wall, they will not chip, and in that sense they are extremely reliable weapons.
Each of these cleavers is silver, or chrome, in coloration, and is made of a blade which is four feet long and a handle of a foot in length. Along the sides, clouds are engraved which glow a white-blue while lofted by his telekinesis.
The remaining two weapons are revolvers which are heavily modified. Each revolver has a foot-long barrel, and is shaped such that instead of really looking like a gun, it more looks like a baton with a slightly angled handle. The foot-long barrel is rather wide, and this is because it is, in fact, two side-by-side barrels melded together. Because of this, there are two triggers, each requiring a separate finger to operate, and each having their own trigger-guard.
However, the strangest thing about these weapon are the highly modified revolving chambers. Three bullets can fit back to back in the extra-long chamber, and there are six chambers per barrel. So, the bath is as follows. 3 bullets x 6 chambers x 2 barrels x 2 guns. 64 bullets start out in each gun.

[blockquote]ID: Rapid Reloader Belt.
A belt of circular fittings, each with enough bullets to fully load one gun. The belt consists of ten of these looped into a leather strap on his waist. Using this it takes less than a second to reload, via a swipe across the waist.

(Note: Training is not individual between the three branches of telekinesis. In training one, he is effectively training all three.)
Uses: 5 Turns per Battle
[ul][li]3. Throwin' Back Bottles:[/li][/ul]
By focusing, or dropping all other telekinetic process to focus energies into strength, Lysander can incur a penalty of fifty percent to his handling and speed for four turns, to acquire a one turn burst that will allow him to reach a total strength of 1 Short Ton, or 2000 Pounds, roughly 910 Kilograms. [blockquote][ul]1. A Welcome Sip:[/ul]
This is one of three interrelated abilities that act as Lysander's base stats for his telekinesis. It represents the speed portion; or in other words, how quickly he can make something move from point a to point b. Before both strength and handling, speed is by far the most straightforward of the three interlinking abilities. Whatever he chooses to lift moves at the same speed a typical person would. Whether moving a large tree out of a dirt road path, or a wave of sand into the eyes of an opposing force, it is all moved at the same speed. The proportions are kept the same. Up to a total of twenty miles per hour at full movement speed, while more intricate and flexible movements can be done with a greater speed. This is like the difference between running and punching.
Uses: Passive.
[ul]2. A Welcome Gulp:[/ul]
By focusing, Lysander simply reduces his range to the pre-established standards to double his speed. What else can you say?

[ul]3. A Welcome Glass:[/ul]
By focusing Lysander receives the predetermined penalty to his strength and handling in order to greatly increase the speed of his telekinesis, and get an added bonus through this.
Put simply, he can now move objects up to 150 miles per hour for two turns. Easy enough to understand. So, here's the kicker, that added incentive that each focused form gives. His telekinesis becomes so quick that it goes from controlled to instinctive. That is to say, instead of looking at an opponent, finding something to throw at them, taking aim, and throwing it, he simply looks at an opponent and all available projectiles in the area fly at them at a bullet pace. Of course, he has some control over this, and can time when an object will shoot at an opponent and so on.[/blockquote]

subtle to the least, and as a primarily ranged combatant most often don't see his physical side. But not seeing and it not existing are two totally different things. Lysander has honed a set of mental powers complemented physical abilities that are undoubtedly without match for their purpose.
Digging In The Spurs
[blockquote]Lysander's advanced mental strength and physical abilities combine for two posts to allow him to move 10 times as fast as normal (For Example: A sprint could reach 200mph as his base speed is 20mph). This ability does not grant him excellent reflexive control over his body, or the awareness to be able to use this ability well, being an ability that focuses completely and unfalteringly on speed. Alone this ability is useless, essentially allowing him to run super fast with little to no control over his direction, or punch hundreds of times per minute with no ability to aim each punch.[/blockquote]

Uses: 4 Per Battle, 3 Post Cooldown
Dead Aim
[blockquote]Lysander's natural alertness and heightened senses, with the aid of his telekinesis, make him attentive to the smallest goings on around him. In a fifty foot radius sphere, Lysander will be aware to the point of having eyes in all directions.[/blockquote]
Strength: Strong
Uses: Passive
Trigger Finger
[blockquote]An ability after your own heart, this is Lysander's capability of reaction, the ability that has kept him alive for so long.
So that's why he's so relaxed all the time.[/blockquote]

[blockquote]Lysander was born in the world of Trinn, a relatively peaceful place in the long run, unfortunately under star of war. In a time of political unrest he grew up in a small village called Calico in the middle of a large dry wasteland. The soil was red and hard as the bedrock beneath it, and desert surrounded them on all sides, but Lysander knew it as home.
Born to Jareth and Tienna Mae Kray, the town sheriff and a stay-at-home mother, he lived the good life. Wealthy, popular, and handsome, he was one to always have a healthy following of friends. In spite of this fact, he never seemed to actually grow close to any of his friends, and often felt alienated. Upon telling his father and mother about this feeling, his father immediately took the boy under his wing, and for several years they were never seen apart from one another.
Jareth taught his son many things, most of which included methods of self protection, and how to use a gun. Being a physically weak boy he was raised on the philosophy that you dodged and avoided attacks rather than defended and countered against them. Keeping distance between himself and his opponent was key because there was no way he could win if he took even a single hit. This resulted in a fighting style in which Lysander never threw or blocked a punch.
At the age of twelve he was more popular than ever, just starting his pretty boy tendencies. He began lifting weights not for muscular strength, but rather for build and showy muscle. This was, of course, around the time he started noticing girls, and enjoyed impressing them with his flashy gun play, and physique.
Having all but abandoned his friends for his life of girl-chasing and playing lawman with his dad, they began to despise him, and so began two years of the worst bullying of his life. Regular beatings ensued for so much as showing his face around the wrong part of town. He couldn't do so much as tell his father because not only would it make him seem weak and even traitorous, but fine upstanding boys in such a small town would never do such mean things.
Things only went downhill from there. Seeing that he was fairly uncool, and that all the muscle and gun play was just for show, girls tended to avoid him. Spending time with his father diminished due to longer hours spent sulking in his room out of a sort of depression. Soon he stopped showing his face around town altogether, finding a secluded spot out in the desert where he could sit in his quiet lonesome, and do generally whatever he wants.
As he turned fourteen, two major events would shape Lysander's life into an even more complicated and confusing place. Lysander developed his telekinetic abilities, a rare but not altogether nonexistent trait, and for a short time found respite in practicing his telekinesis. He began only moving waves of sand that were already in the air because of the wind, but soon gathered the strength to pick up motionless objects all on his own, and move them about.
Within only months of discovering this ability, however things turned for disaster. Trinn's capital city, Ferrith, had been overtaken by a traitorous militant group that had emerged from within governing body itself. A coup d'etat if you will. Thus soldiers were sent outward from the capital and other supporting cities to quell what rebellion there would be.
About to go home from his place in the desert, he was intercepted by the militia who had been sent to raze Calico to the ground for their support of the old king. In exchange for his own life, he sold out the location of the town, how it was laid out, all citizens capable and willing to fight back, and any other information they asked of him. As they took him hostage, they made him watch the death of all the people he'd grown up with in the place he'd grown up in.
Over the next few years he was raised as a soldier, killing enemies of the new empire for a living. He took up drinking and smoking, with late nights spent gambling. Despite his regret for every life he took, he was one of the empire's most efficient killers, and by far their best telekinetic. He kept a journal in which he detailed his life, the only place he let his emotions run free. By the age of fifteen he stopped writing actual entries, and began only adding tallies for every victim by his hand. When at sixteen the journal was full of tallies he stopped keeping journals.
At eighteen when he was pressured into inciting another coup by a small group of politicians who didn't believe in the current dictator's way of doing anything he accepted. The politicians told the dictator that Lysander was being reviewed for valor shown in battle, and planned on rewarding the telekinetic soldier. What the group of politicians did not factor in, was the psychological state of the boy.
When it came time to kill the dictator, Lysander summoned not only both revolvers, but all four of his cleavers as well. Needless to say, he killed everyone in the room, not just the alloted target. It was this final act by his hand that tipped the balance of their planet over the edge, and Heartless began sprouting up everywhere, spreading their darkness across the land.
Lysander escaped for his own life, taking the prototype of the dictator's upper atmosphere gummi ship off the planet altogether. Not designed for interplanetary travel the gummi ship shut down in the middle of space. Reflecting over his life he prayed to whatever gods that be that he'd never take a life, and that he'd never do anything to devalue his own life if only he survived.
On the verge of death, Lysander fell asleep and in a bright flash of light, during the final moments of his own world, he was teleported to Traverse Town. Waking up in a room of the Traverse Town hotel thoroughly confused he paid what he owed and left, looking for a bit of harmless work.
But... Is that really all? Maybe something is... Missing.[/blockquote]
