The flower said
I wish i was a tree
The tree said
I wish i could be
A different kind of tree
The cat wished that it was a bee
I wish i was a tree
The tree said
I wish i could be
A different kind of tree
The cat wished that it was a bee
A girl wearing a purple Aviator's hat with goggles propped onto her forehead came to the crossroads with all the odd looking signs. But this had not been the first time she had been here. Oh, no no. She had come here before and had enjoyed a not so happy ending tea party, which seemed to be common in this part of the woods. Her eyes dazzled up at the signs, browsing over the words on each wooden plack. Up, down. Left, right. Why not go all around? This way, that way. These signs were oh so confusing, which way did they want her to go?
She shrugged and followed the road she had been walking on to the left, but then looked over to the right of the tree with the signs. It seemed she was having trouble deciding which way to go. Going the other way she walked on the path, disappearing into the darkness of the creepy forest known as Tulgey Wood. One would wonder where the path in the woods would lead? Did each way lead to the same destination just with different scenic routes?
It was a bit quiet but a soft humming could be heard as the young blue-skinned elf girl decided to skip along the path. Humming a unknown tune. The path seemed to lead on and on, there were a few other paths but Ellie continued straight. If you went straight, surely you would get to the place you wanted to, right? She could only be hopeful in that aspect. Her chipper mood did not seem to disappear as she continued, even though she was alone and there was a eerie darkness about this place. She wondered when she would happen upon some wood folk. Folk as in creatures. Remembering the mouse in the teapot at her tea party she couldn't help but smile as she hummed louder.
And the rattlesnake said
I wish i had hands so
I could hug you like a man
And then the cactus said
Don't you understand
My skin is covered
With sharp spikes
That'll stab you
Like a thousand knives
A hug would be nice
But hug my flower
With your eyes
