Current Canons: Adelle the Cat
Canon you're auditioning for: Gaston
Media canon is from: Beauty and the Beast
Is the current canon taken?: Not yet ------------------------ This man was really starting to piss him off.
Already Gaston had enough troubles finding a place to hunt in this place known as “Traverse Town”. The only prey around, it seemed, were wiggly little Heartless creatures. And things so small were hardly worth his precious time.
So when he decided to retire from his search and take a rest in this quaint little inn, he certainly didn’t expect to find such a rude innkeeper. In fact, he certainly didn’t expect to find a male innkeeper. What coward of a man takes such a womanly profession when he could be out doing a real man’s work?
“I want that room and I am willing to pay you for it. Why do you question me?” he growled, his hand motioning to the Munny he had placed on the counter.
The man on the other side seemed worried, but remained adamant in his words of refusal, pinning the blame on someone else who was currently preoccupying the room. Which baffled Gaston’s mind, really. Why was this innkeeper making it seem like such a problem?
“Then put him somewhere else. Are you too stupid to understand this?” Gaston continued, quickly scanning the area in hopes of finding another open counter at this inn. Perhaps one with a beautiful woman running things.
The innkeeper’s response quickly changed Gaston’s mood however. For the worse.
“You’re suggesting I take another room? Have you any idea to whom you speak?!”
A rather muscular arm reached across the counter and picked up the poor shell of a man by his collar. Did this man think he could insult Gaston with such remarks simply because he was full of gray hair? It wasn’t the hunter’s fault this man was old.
Some of the others in the inn began to notice Gaston’s dealings but didn’t make a move. No doubt they wanted to step in and help Gaston get his justice, but they must have realized he had a strong handle on things.
After some begging from this pathetic little innkeeper, Gaston did the graceful thing and dropped him to the ground. Such a display of kindness would surely win Gaston this room, would it not?
Indeed the innkeeper choked out a few words before getting on his knees and passing the keys to Gaston, who accepted them in his much larger (and honestly more manly) hands before stomping away towards the stairs. Hopefully whoever was in the room currently would not be as rude as this innkeeper. The innkeeper then had the nerve to call back that the price of that room was actually higher than what Gaston had paid, but a quick glare back from the hunter shut him up.
“What lousy service this inn has. I may not be gracious enough to return here in the future.”

My my, tis' Monsieur Gaston.
You've made him out to be quite the brute, haven't you? I think you've caught that eclectic mix of the gentleman-bully, but I don't think he's quite as one-dimensional as you make him out to be (granted, he is a pretty shallow dude).
I'm on the verge of accepting since he's so minor a character that he doesn't even appear in the games despite being the primary antagonist in the movie. Buuuut-
Here's a scenario for the trigger-happy womanizer:
He's spotted Adelle. For reasons known only to Adelle (and Gaston's wallet) Adelle has approached him. How do you think Gaston would react? You don't have to make it long, 200ish words should suffice to get across his thoughts.

Alright, so I watched Beauty and the Beast again and had like a day to think about it. However, the scenario you gave me is one in which I feel he may be..fairly different from the first post. If only because his love for Belle is such a fundamental character trait in him. Well, maybe "lust" would be a better word to use than "love". Blah blah blah, here's my attempt at this. Oh, and I'm continuing it from the first post, so he's on his way upstairs in the inn. -------------------------- As Gaston stomped his way up the stairs of the inn, he became aware someone was following him. Not a surprise really; he had surely made a few more fans with the way he dealt with that horrible innkeeper. And no doubt he always had women after him just being the kind of person he was.
She spoke first...something Gaston found a little odd and unladylike. But she had a sweet voice and a pretty face, so he was willing to let her little mistake slide. This time.
As expected, this girl demonstrated interest in him. Gaston almost felt bad for the poor girl, living in such a desolate town where no man could even remotely compare to him. She had probably never seen such a handsome man. Not that he expected many - if any - towns to have anyone even vaguely comparable to the hunter.
“I can see you can recognize a real man when you see one. I like that in a woman." he said, leaning in close to her face for a second. "But I’m afraid I shall have to stop you here.”
The girl seemed surprised but did not give up, moving closer towards him. Her hands seemed to be reaching towards his legs, but Gaston simply laughed and caught her hands in his.
“You must be truly heartbroken. I don’t blame you; you’ll never meet a better man than me. But I’ve got my eyes set on a girl much more beautiful than you, and I will have her soon enough.”
The shock in her eyes was truly remarkable at this point as Gaston took one last opportunity to look her up and down before releasing her. Truly a shame; she was almost comparable to Belle. And yet she was still leagues away from obtaining that source of true beauty.
“Perhaps one day you will find someone half as good as me. If you’re lucky, of course. Because no one is quite like Gaston.”
------- ...Okay, I'm not sure he would say that very very last line, but it was too tempting not to put in.
