Physical Appearance ~ :
Gaston is the epitome of a true man in the old sense of the word. Muscles bulge from every limb, silently threatening anyone around him. His height of nearly six feet lets him tower over whoever is unfortunate enough to get in his way. And his blue eyes make no effort to hide his immense pride and sheer determination that he will obtain whatever he desires.
Even many other villagers (especially the women) will vouch for Gaston’s good looks, especially his perfectly chiseled face (no one’s got a swell cleft in his chin like Gaston!). His hair is rather long and as dark as a raven. Though often tied at the back, the hunter has been known to let it out when truly serious. Or simply when the rain gets in his way.Clothing/Accessories ~ :
Gaston spends most of his time in a crimson, half-sleeved, 19th century tunic. It falls to a good deal below his waist, which has a brown belt with a yellow buckle tied around it. The collar of the tunic is a bold yellow and generally kept down. The tunic is cut quite a way down his neck. Yellow gloves reach up to his elbow as well. His legs are covered in rather plain black trousers. The outfit is topped off with his trademark big boots, brown in colour and relatively high-reaching. His musket is also generally slung onto his back, despite his ability to summon the Beastslayer at will.
Occasionally wears a dark blue, fairly ragged cape.

Behaviour ~ :
Gaston is quite a peculiar person as far as his personality is concerned. Some would discount him simply as an old-style man who loves to fight and hit on women. But there is much more to the hunter than that.
First of all, it is no lie that he loves to fight and work out. A man’s body is his pride, after all. This makes him rather confrontational in both combat and arguments, and he hates nothing more than being humiliated and losing. Respect is very crucial to Gaston, and he has obtained quite a bit of it amongst the villagers of his home. Even outside his village he can easily inspire respect in those who have a similar old-fashioned belief of what a man should be.
This does not mean Gaston is an idiotic brute, however. True, he is not that educated in the arts of science and mathematics, but he has an immense amount of street smarts. Controlling the psychology of others is not a difficult task for the hunter, and really what use are books if he can use street smarts to get whatever he desires? Gaston has little respect for so called “intellectuals” who waste away their lives in reading and research.
And then we have the women. Gaston really does love getting attention from them, and again seems quite successful in his endeavours. Most of the time. But Belle has proven to be a mighty obstacle for him; by far the most beautiful girl around, yet unwilling to marry him. While believing that women should hold more traditional positions as wives and mothers rather than intellectuals, he still finds himself drawn to Belle’s beauty and unable to convert her to his way of thinking. Quite frustrating indeed.
For all these seemingly arrogant qualities, Gaston is actually not as bad a guy as many think. True, he doesn’t care about the suffering of most people, but he cares greatly for the well-being of his townspeople. They give him respect, and he, as a man, but fulfill his obligations to protect them. Of course, he does not like to make it known that he actually cares about others, thus making him appear more “evil” most of the time to outsiders.
It should be noted that since accepting the Heartless into him, he has become even more uncaring of the plights of other, and more prone to violence. He also tends to boss around his little Wolx Heartless much like he used to boss around Le Fou.

~Weapons~
Come on out and fight!
Come on out and fight!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Primary Weapon
ID: Beastslayer
Quality: Average
A spiked club created from an incredibly hard stone, Gaston likes to swing this at his foes so he can use his prized muscles to bring down his foe rather than just shooting them. About twenty one-inch spikes dot this dark-blue club, which itself is just over 1 foot long and packing as much weight as one would expect from something carved out of solid rock. Named as such because Gaston hopes to bring down the famed Beast with a weapon fitting of his former-prince’s primitive appearance.
Secondary Weapon
ID: Musket
A regular musket. Certainly not the greatest of firearms, but still dangerous in the hands of the hunter.
[No One Fights Like Gaston]
Gaston isn’t packing all those muscles for show. Partially to keep up appearances as a town hero, and partially in training for his eventual battle with the Beast, Gaston has gone through massive strength training to achieve those beautiful biceps. And it has certainly paid off; he is much stronger than the average man. One such example is his ability to lift a bench which three women are sitting on high above his head...with one arm! Yes, a punch from the hunter will easily break into a wall and send anyone unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of a punch flying. And while he doesn’t show them off as much, his kicks pack just as much power.
Strength: Moderate
Passive
[No One’s Quick Like Gaston]
Ah, but strength is not everything; even Gaston knows that. In the wild, having sharp instincts and reflexes are every bit as important as power. After all, what will muscle do (except swoon women) if you cannot even connect an attack? Years of experience hunting have given Gaston the ability to react at almost inhuman speed to danger; only about half a second is required for him to register and react.
Strength: Moderate
Uses: Five times per thread
[No One Uses Cheap Tricks Like Gaston]
In the extremely rare case Gaston cannot defeat his opponent with his honed strength and reflexes, he does have one ace up his sleeve. With this ability, Gaston can launch any number of the spikes on the club a short distance at great speed. A short distance being...oh, say one foot? So what is the use of such a low-range ability, you ask? Why, to deal extra damage to close-range combatants, of course! You see, upon connecting his club against the target’s body, he may shoot the spikes off and thus into the enemy’s bloodstream, causing quite a bit of internal damage.
Grade: D-Grade (Set of 8)
Name: Wolx Hounds
Appearance: They basically appear to be small wolves made of shadow energy much like most Heartless. So that means they stand on four legs, have fairly sharp fangs, and have very sharp yellow eyes. They only stand at about one foot tall each. They also cannot speak, using only growls and howls.
Abilities:
[Shadow Sight]
Not having much power to rely on, the Wolx Hounds are mainly used for tracking. This ability makes use of that, delivering a cloud of dark energy upon hurting a target. This energy burns a bright red to only Gaston and the other Wolx Hounds, making it easy to find the target if they are trying to hide.
Strength: Weak
Uses: Once per post
[Basic Flight]
Granted due to being D-Grade, the wolves can fly at decent speed through the air.
Passive
Elemental Weakness: Wind
History:
The Wolx Hounds were manifested when Gaston gave himself to the darkness. They are extremely loyal to the hunter despite his rather rough treatment of them. There were originally 10 wolves, but two have disappeared over the months. Each time a wolf disappears into Gaston’s heart, the darkness in him grows.
~History~
When I was a lad I ate four dozen eggs every morning to help me grow large.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gaston had a fairly traditional upbringing that is responsible for his current attitude. His father was also a man of a man, and his mother took the traditional woman’s role of housekeeper. From a young age, Gaston was trained in archery and sword-fighting in preparation to become a hunter. As he grew older, he was also trained in using guns and accompanied his father in hunting animals.
As he grew older, he continued to become a true model of a man and gain respect throughout the village for him amazing hunting skills. And with this respect came everything he could dream of; loyal followers, beautiful women, and a generally luxurious life.
But one day he chanced upon Belle and realized she had grown into the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. It seemed like things would be fine; he would ask her to marry him, she would say yes, and they would live happily ever after.
But Belle had something else in mind, responding to Gaston in a way he had never head: no. She refused him! How could she refuse a man as great as Gaston? He had everything she could ever dream of, and yet she did not care to marry him? Eventually Gaston came to realize Belle, for all her beauty, was rather strange and preferred reading to cooking. Not a normal women at all. But he was lusting for her now, not only for her beauty but to preserve his dignity in being able to get whatever he wanted.
Things changed from bad to worse when Belle began to babble about a legendary “Beast” that lived in a nearby castle. And yet she was truly fixated on believing not only that the Beast existed, but that he was a better man than Gaston! Preposterous!
Before Gaston could make a move and take care of this so-called Beast, another otherworldly entity entered their village: the Heartless. Strange shadow creatures of immense power, they ravaged the town despite Gaston’s best efforts. Yet again he was humiliated.
Somehow he found himself in another world, surrounded by Heartless. Continuing to fight, the shadows approached him, claiming to take an interest in the “darkness in his heart”. Though he did not quite understand what they meant, they promised to give him the power to defeat the Beast if he surrendered his body to them. Not one to let power slip away, he accepted and let the darkness inside him.
Oddly, he did not find himself possessed or anything. No, it simply seemed that he had gained power in exchange for becoming a little more prone to anger. But little did he know the darkness inside him was growing, transforming his lust for Belle and envy towards the Beast into something else.
Something much more dangerous...

Grab your sword!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gaston chooses the sword, of course. He has no use for shielding others, and does not care for “magic” either.
[Warrior :: Pulse Aura]
Send a pulse through your weapon that creates a brute force from any single point on your weapon with a range of a meter from that single point. This force is enough to kick an opponent backwards 5 feet, and maybe break bone, but don’t expect to burst through walls or anything. 3 time use per battle. Each Pulse counts as a use.
