Well I came up with what I consider an awesome idea for a new enemy while in school but I unfortunately can't same it to Microsoft word because its on the frits again. Anyway the new Idea I got for are called Echoes. I even rationalized it into the KH universe.....sort of.
When a person ahs there heart stolen of corrupted by Darkness, they can become a heartless and lose there heart. If they had a strong will, then the body and soul survive to become Nobodies. But if the Nobody is destroyed then what happens? Is it simply the end for that person? I believe that its not. If a person has a strong enough will to survive without a heart and defy the laws of existence, then they will not fade away simply because the body is destroyed. When you destroy a Nobody, you destroy the body. The soul, or at least a part of it, goes on to become an Echo. Echo's have no natural physical form, so they make there own by possessing physical things and warping its physical traits. For example, If an Echo possesses a rock, the rock may grow an eye and a large fanged mouth or something. If an Echo is powerful enough, it can posses anything without a heart. The heart provides a natural barrier that keeps them from possessing beings with hearts. They can possess nobodies, but it would only be possible for the most powerful of Echoes. Echoes tend to delve into anger and become jealous of complete being (having a heart, soul, and body) the jealousy turns to anger and frustration, causing them to lash out.
Ya I bases these things of the Lingering Sentiment, which i would consider to be an echo or at least partially one. If you think it’s a good idea or simply have an idea about it or any sort of opinion, comment.
