[ CLOSED RP WITH THE DEFENDERIFIC ROLT! ]
With the faint whisper of wind on clothes resting in her ears, Sienna felt she could pause.
Time, it's said, has many purposes. It allows for action, thought, and multiple occurrences. In its wake, both healing and devastation lay.
Sienna wasn't sure what to think of that. A smidge of a bent lower lip showed as much, heavy thoughts written for display across her pale skin. Looking at the sun setting across the ocean, the fussy-haired woman found her mind recalling her less-than-fortuitous past.
Life, it's said, has a purpose. Many frequent the topic, making haphazard guesses that make sense to few. The closest agreement those foolish philosophers can sometimes agree on is it's perception is some factor-- it is subjective. One person's meaning is not another's.
Well.
With faint, quick footsteps reminiscent of a shadow's, the longtime unfated woman stepped off of the sandy boards of the main path. Unfazed at the ever persistent latching of sand into the uncomfortable parts of her dark boots, Sienna stepped into the shallow water of the shoreline's wavering waters.
...
...and gave a confused rub to her eyebrow.
And here this was supposed to be relaxing.
She needed to get her mind off of things. That's what she needed to do.
But... how do you do that?
...hm.

It was a beautiful day, the sun shining it's warmth upon the islands, and reflecting off of the blue-green hues of the ocean. Sparkling like a thousand gems, looking at the view you might think that you were living inside of a painting. The sand under your feet wasn't hot enough to burn your feet, but it was warm enough to feel great on the skin. As such, Rolt had put his coat down as a pillow, removed his vest and shoes, and rolled up the sleeves of his pants. He closed his eyes, and put his head back. Ah, relaxation at last.
He heard the sound of someone quietly walking along the boardwalk, and not much later the very light splash of someone walking into water. He opened his eyes, and there was a girl standing in the water, with a hand to her head. She must not have seen him... Then again, he was probably pretty easy to miss, as he was laying behind a fence. She looked almost confused, as if something was wrong, but didn't want to show it. Then again, he could be completely wrong, but something told him to go talk to the girl.
Rolt rose to his feet. "Hey, is something the matter?" he asked her, jumping over the fence, then leaning against it. Hm... maybe that was a little too direct; this person didn't even know him. Chances are, even if something was wrong, she wouldn't tell him. Besides, he had just popped up out of nowhere, maybe she'd think he had been following her. Better offer an explanation. "I was laying here and saw you just standing there, it seems something's troubling you." He hoped he wasn't wrong. That would be embarrassing. "The name's Rolt, by the way."

"Hm?"
What luck! A native...
"You-- Ralth, right--" she offhandedly waved the name away, speaking instinctively imperiously with her officiously faint voice as he spoke. "Tell me, how does one... relax?"
A dark eyebrow rose in accordance with the question, signifying her curiousity and interest in the answer before all else.

Ralth...?! Bah. Rolt was somewhat shocked, and probably let it show a little as well. She had a curious look on her face... It seemed he could get away with teasing her a bit. "Ralth? Last I checked, there wasn't anyone that went by that name here. Sorry!" He turned to go back over the fence, and as he stepped over it, grinned a little. He wondered what mischief this could cause... Hopefully she wouldn't be angry though.
He rolled up his vest to form a smaller makeshift pillow, tossing the cloak a few feet to the side. He then laid on his back, resting his head in his hands, which in turn were resting on the vest. Not terribly comfortable, but it would do. How to relax? Well, how could he explain that? Rolt closed his eyes, and listened. If the girl didn't come over to the fence sometime soon, he'd get up and apologize; he didn't want her to think he was terribly rude. He listened to the waves crash on the beach. How did one relax?

[ lol DENIED xD P.S. Character is not intentionally trying to tick Rolt off, but is acting overly royalistic due to upbringing. ^^;; ]What?
Sandy mud trickled down Sienna's sky blue shoes as her feet rose. Her face remained strangely curious, though, as she moved forward.
That wasn't an answer. It didn't serve any purpose. Why, then...?
Hopping determendly over the fence, Sienna landed with a small huff of exhale. In less than a moment, her focused dark green eyes were on the young man.
"What was that supposed to mean?"

[OOC: haha, Sorry. It wasn't meant to seem as though he was ticked off, just teasing her ] D'oh. She was mad, the girl had hopped over the fence and was staring intently at him. " Oh boy... Here we go..." he sighed, sitting up. " It wasn't meant to 'mean' anything, I was just teasing you." Looking up at her, Rolt didn't know whether or not to burst out laughing or look scared. He didn't think the girl posed much of a threat to him at the moment, but he didn't want to offend her either. " Look, to be honest, I have no idea what to say. I don't know how to tell you to 'Relax,' but all I do is just calm myself down, close my eyes, and just think of something peaceful. Like the sound of the waves on the beach." he said, gesturing to the aforementioned waves. Who was this girl anyway? He'd need to get her name at some point. Rolt hated talking to someone without at least knowing a name. " What's your name, anyway?"
