In unison, twin shrouds of darkness rose from the ground. Standing a top a far off peak overlooking the most impressive bay appeared two men who were not men, people who only technically existed.
One wore an expression of extreme distaste. Beneath his heavy blond brows was a undeterrable green eyed gaze, further accentuated by the sneer that creased across the Nobody's face.
Business as usual.
"Number IX..." the particularly irate man said with an undertone of superiority, "I think a challenge presents itself."
An echo of a grin smirked across the bony face. "What say you?"

Demyx looked over where Vexen had been staring. A huge pirate ship sat in a cove off in the distance. Suprisingly, he was looking forward to the fight. He'd be in his element for the fight, and have the upper hand.
"I think that you're right Number IV, it does look like a challenge. I think we should take them up on the challenge too."
Gesturing towards the ship, he finished, "Shall we go?"

"Indeed, we shall."
It was then that Vexen stepped back, for the Corridor of Darkness, only to reappear at the top of the ship's main mast. Stepping around the thoroughly scared lookout, Vexen's hand found the mast, and held tight to it as a lifeline from a deep blue death below. All that was needed now was Member IX...

As Vexen stepped into his portal, Demyx formed his and waited for a second. Keeping an eye on the ship, he saw Vexen appear on the mast of the ship, terrifying the lookout. So, he stepped into the portal and appeared on the other side of the crow's nest. Holding onto the mast with one hand, he idly moved his other hand, causing waves to slam into the side of the ship, rocking it. "Let's go, Vexen!" As he tossed himself off the crow's nest, he landed softly on the deck, holding Arpeggio in a fighting position, and glanced around at the shocked pirates. Time to fight, he supposed. ======= Battle Music for anyone reading!

"GWARGH!" shouted the pirates in unison as they charged forward, towrds Demyx, hands and swords outstretched to tackle the strange trespasser.
Vexen immediately brought attention to himself by firing off a few shards of ice in their direction, shouting out, "Come! Face us at your peril!"

Demyx grinned as the pirates charged, and swung Arpeggio, causing a wall of water slam into two of the pirates in front of him, sending them over the side of the ship.
'Dang, I really need a better kind of attack for things like this... A wall just isn't cutting it right now. Maybe something more spread out or variable? Gah, no time to think right now!"
Spinning around, he swatted another pirate upside the head with the heavy part of Arpeggio. "Come on guys, I thought you guys were scary!"

Pirates, grinning toothless grins, were going about climbing up the roping along the masts. Vexen frowned. Firing off individual shards against the large numbers charging now would be a severe waste of resources... extremely inefficient... But his thoughts turned from the endless possibilities of the realm of Nobody powers to the problem at hand. It was then that the lookout's nervous pitterpattering becme much in the way of justified. Clenching his free fist around an empty space, Vexen called upon his powers over the elemental realm of ice, summoning forth his weapon-- a massive kite shield known as the Freeze Pride. Grippng the shield, Vexen stepped back and fell into the Crow's Nest, landing with a soft " Huph," of a grunt. One nonchalant twist of the shield later, an unconcious ship's hand fell to the floor. The failue of a lookout would serve as a proper distraction for Vexen's less than wholesome purposes. Gripping the boy by the chafe of his collar, the Chilly Academic turned to throw the by toward-- towards... ... The very nice gentleman surrounding Vexen. "...confound it." muttered the scientist. Letting go of the shield, Vexen allowed it to swirl around him ( majestically, Vexen was sure). A pirate's hesitation. the blond Nobody thought with a grin. More than long enough for...Surrounded on two sides, both hesitating for only a moment. Shifty eyes coming from both alignments. A tense moment. Withou time to spare, Vexen tossed the boy towards his left side, at one group. The other group would be faced with more metaphorical fire as Vexen unleashed three more blasts of ice from his open palm. [ 4/10 Blizzard II XD ]---
Growls emerged from the opposing pirates' throats-- this was not their opinion of a good time. Witout warning, many of them drew their knives and threw a fair amount of them in Demyx's direction. A few others went the sword route, and charged forward in a manner not unlike the others. [ NOTE: This is not the crowd it sounds like. xD There's maybe 10 pirates surrounding Demyx at once. ]

Demyx let out a yelp as the knives flew at him, along with the pirates charging him. Yeah, not the best idea, jumping down into a group of pirates.
Barely dodging the thrown knives, he smacked one pirate with Arpeggio, and moved away from the others, but backed into a wall. Not. Good.
He went pale as the pirates turned to him and grinned evilly. Yeah, a new attack was sounding great right about now. Too bad he didn't have time to think one up.
He strummed his guitar, trying to buy time by spinning 5 clones into existence, who moved between him and the pirates.
He moved left, and climbed up to the steering wheel of the ship, hoping the pirates wouldn't attack for fear of hurting the wheel.

Demyx was right about that-- the pirates weren't going to be throwing many knives while he was right next to the wheel. One Mister Smee was on deck, at the helm, and his ruddy nose was bright red at the sight of all the commotion. "Oh, b-b-b- a-ah, I should go find the captain! Yes, yes that's what I'll do..." Muttering, Mister Smee ran from view, heading for parts unknown on the ship. So... the ship's wheel was unguarded. ---
Blast it, the ship's boy had only bought him a few moments. Not nearly enough to buy the proper time needed to create an appropriate plan. ..perhaps this had been a bit on the foolhardy side. Only furrowed brows revealed the inner turmoil, however. With a quick bark-- which was more like a yip-- "Demyx, get down!", Vexen brought down a shower of wind and hail upon the opposing pirates. In a matter of moments, all before the Organization members were frozen. ... Slamming the broad shield into a nearby pirate's side, sending it careening towards the deck, Vexen made his way down the roping. [ 2/3 Blizzard! ]

Demyx heared Vexen's shout, saw what he was doing, and hit the deck, letting the wind and ice shoot over the head.
Poking his head back up, he saw the pirates encased in ice. Looking up at Vexen in the crow's nest, he wave halfheartedly, and said, "Thanks Vexen, you're a lifesaver."
'Was that all the pirates?' Demyx thought to himself, 'Seems a little small for such a large ship...'

"WHAT IN THE BLAZES IS ALL THIS RACKET I HEAR?!"
"C-c-c-c-Captain!" stammered Smee, trailing behind the elegantly garbed pirate captain. "These men-- they're- they're making the ruck--"
Rolling his eyes, Hook brought his face down and into Smee's. "Yes... I can see that, Smee!"
"Hmm."
Drawing attention to himself with a small, thoughtful grunt, Vexen plainly rubbed his chin. "You are captain of this vessel, I assume?"
Hook knew a someone too smart for his britches when he saw one. "Now look here you scallywag-- you've no business on me ship!"
The crew was, by now, thoroughly defrosted. Rallying themselves, they began to amass behind their captain.
How very droll. "Number IX-- what, pray tell is your impression of this man?"

"Well Number IV, I'd have to say that this guy is an overblown weirdo at least. At most, he's a bit of a loser, 'cause from what I've heard, he gets his butt handed to him by a kid on a regular basis, and that's pretty dang sad. Anything you'd like to add, Number IV?"
Demyx was trying his hardest to ignore Hook's enraged expression getting worse and worse.
He was suprised, he hadn't known someone could turn that shade of red!

Drawing his sword in a fit of rage, the irate pirate captain promptly began to wave it around in complicated maneuvers. "Come on you bilge rats, I'll teach you to mess with Captain Hook![/b]"
Vexen tut, tut, tutted. "I'm afraid I'm inclined to agree, Demyx." Removing his grip on the rope that lined the ship so much, the Organization member fell to the ground before the pirates. "Why don't we relieve him of duty, eh?" Laughing, the Nobody snapped his fingers. In a blur of technological programming languages and light, a Nobody insignia appeared on the boat's deck, trailing off after the nearest pirate.
And so the pirate crew renewed it's energies-- "After them!" they shouted, piling up the stairs for Demyx, and across the top deck for Vexen.

Demyx smirked as the pirates came up the stairs. "Bad idea guys, real bad idea." He slammed Arpeggio into the first person coming up the stairs, knocking them tumbling down the stairs.
He then held his hand in the air, and spheres of water slammed down onto the downed pirates, pelting them hard.
Demyx grinned, "Oh yeah, I can do this!" 'I need to keep thinking. Maybe that new attack I've been thinking about...'

[ 1 SCAN ] At Vexen's call, an Anti-Pirate appeared before himself. In a blur of speed, the Heartless clone charge forward and unleashed it fury on the mass of pirates attempting to do him harm. Vexen, meanwhile, continued to move for the ship's bow. No reason to risk being hurt. Demyx's move was most impressive! The downed pirates were thoroughly out of the battle-- the fall down the stairs had more than a few out for the count! Too bad there's another set of stairs on the other side, eh? Charging up that side was another patc of the pirate crew, quickly followed by Smee. ...now what is Smee going to do, I wonder...
