[ Closed plot for Angelus and me. ] The Land of Dragons.
An ancient world, inhabited by dragoons, warriors, soldiers, royalty.
And dragons.
More often than not, the visitors -- and, in most cases, the inhabitants of this snow-covered world -- stuck to several main areas.
The Imperial City, and the one mountain accessible by foot.
And this reason alone was why dragons were only told of in legends.
But what many people didn't know was that dragons actually existed. They were just off the beaten path, and for good reason. Ever since the arrival of the dragoons a great many years ago, these scaled creatures were killed without mercy, to the point that they were almost wiped out entirely.
The key point of this entire story, however, is that the home of the dragons is not easily accessible by foot.
But there are most certainly other ways.
--------- The tallest point of the tallest mountain.
Where blizzards never ceased, and where the cold was almost unbearable.
A sudden rift in the all-encompassing storm.
A cloaked figure, fire dancing around his fingertips.
Axel had arrived in the home of the dragons.
And he was going to have some fun.

Something was up, that much was certain. He hadn't received an order to come here, but he came here anyway. Why? Well the reason for that, simply put, was because a friend had asked him to. Shortly after the fiery member of the Organization had decided to have some fun, another member had appeared, but unlike his predecessor, his hood was down. The wind gusted, and his blonde hair moved about violently, as if it was just about to be ripped from his head. Not that it could be. He took a few steps toward Axel, and spoke.
"Any particular reason you called me out here after giving me the cold shoulder for the last few months?" Roxas smirked at that, considering the fact that Axel's element was fire, and if anything should be expected of him, it was a scorcher of a temper. Roxas never pegged him for the type of guy to give someone the silent treatment. Then again, Axel was never easy to figure out, even for Roxas. Part of him wanted to just let the fire manipulator be and go off and do what he wanted, but he didn't. He'd spent enough time without any friends in the Organization since Roxas had returned, he didn't want it to stay that way.
Not that Nobodies could actually be friends, but for some reason, Roxas had always felt that he actually did feel emotions, and that somehow, Axel did too. He shook his head, and dismissed these thoughts. He'd better start paying attention to Axel. If he didn't he wouldn't hear what Axel wanted, and well, considering what happened when Roxas had forgotten his old friend, he dared not risk having to fight the Flurry again. Not when Roxas hadn't the firepower he used to. No, that part he was still working on.

At the sound of the Key's voice, Axel's mouth turned up into the slightest of smiles.
So typical of Roxas to make a bad pun, even though the two hadn't seen each other in god know's how long. It just... amused him. What was even more amusing was that Nobodies happened to be unable to feel emotions, making all of this amusement completley untrue and redundant.
How... amusing.
But the truth was, Axel had been giving Roxas the quote-unquote 'cold shoulder', despite the fact that it was highly uncharacteristic of him.
"Uh... well..." How to put this properly, so that the younger Nobody would understand without getting angry? "The truth is... I was... well, I was scared. As scared as we can get, anyway. After you got sucked into Sora and everything, I just kinda assumed you were gone. But then you came back, and... well, I didn't know whether the big, bad boss-man had done something to you. Made you... like him, or anything, y'know?" Sighing and smirking at his friend again, Axel pointed up at the sky. "Anyway, on to what we're gonna be doing. Today, we're hunting dragons." A distant roar, echoing off the mountain beneath their feet just proved what Axel had said.
Hunting dragons.
What a perfect way to fix a friendship, right?

Roxas smiled when he heard Axel's reply.
"If I made mocked Marluxia would that put those fears to rest?" Roxas said laughing. He was glad his friend was raring to get back into the fray with him, but when he heard what Axel was planning, he shook his head, and chuckled slightly.
"Always got to pick the hard way to fix things don't you?" He sighed, knowing Axel, he wouldn't settle for any of the small fry. No, he'd pick the biggest, baddest one of the bunch. And that meant trouble for the Key.
"Alright then, lead the way. But don't expect me to save you if things don't go the way you plan." Roxas wasn't sure why he said this, because Axel rarely planned, he always seemed to be more of a spontaneous kind of guy. Then again, maybe he had him pegged wrong. Only one way to find out.
