FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
He reveled in the adrenaline pumped cries of his peers, throwing punches and knee kicks and head butting while his opponent slammed away at his back with pudgy fists. A hand grabbed onto his silver hair and the boy screamed in pain as a clump of hair was pulled off. He head butted a face, satisfied with the grunt. Grade school eyes stared, some enthralled by their first real close up of violence while others waited for the outcome.
"Come on Torus! He's just a big baby!"
"Torus, make him cry!"
"Torus! Torus!"
There were no shouts for Loz. Regardless, the boy plowed on, biting on the shoulder of his opponent with all the strength of his kiddy teeth. Just then, the group scattered as a tall menacing figure approached, blue eyes buried deep beneath curved brows, his sun kissed blond hair making the kids squint. Of course, the loved, yet feared, Mr. Highwind of Fin Mick's Boarding School for the Talented Youth [phew].
No fights have ever been finished between the nine year old silver haired Loz and the hot headed Torus. The two kids were promptly picked up by strong arms, rattled and off to Principle Shiang's room they go... [/blockquote]

Yazoo stood with his arms folded over his chest, having just witnessed his brother get in another fight with that mean Arianne's little stupid lacky, Torus. He smirked, having watched his brother wollop the other good, before getting scooped up by Mr. Highwind. He waved at Torus, making sure to smile politely at Torus before giving him a mean little wave. The long silver haired brother sauntered, quietly walked away from the others, but there was a certain confidence that most little kids didn't possess, that he happened to to. As if he knew he was the greatest person in the world. He twirled a lock of hair around his finger, and looked around at the others, blowing bubble gum nonchalantly.
~*~*~*
Torus had been shooting mean looks over at Loz the entire time they'd been in the principle's office. Lysander stood over his "model student", with a dejected scowl. He'd been trying to get Torus to calm down, but lately it hadn't been doing any good. Torus had been getting worse, and worse, and although he didn't want to bring it up before the principle, he didn't like the influence that Arianne was having on his son. He was far less independent he used to be, and he didn't talk about anything except complaining that Lysander wasn't as smart as Ari. He lived not too far away from the private school, and so he was called in frequently.
However, Sephiroth had just been nearby on business, and had gotten the call. He had told his driver to turn the car around immediately, and drive him straight to the school so he could see what the "problem" with his children was in person. His long silver hair was tied back in a clean pony-tail, and his strong features looked between Lysander, his son, Loz, and the principle. His sharp suit must have been intimidating to these middle class citizens, but Sephiroth gave no indication of superiority. He just was superior, and that was it.

Mr. Shiang stared at the four individuals in front of him. It was impossible to tell whether the pale skinned man was peeved with seeing them for the fourth time this month [and it's only the 15th] or worried for the two children's injuries. There was no doubt though, the silver haired kid's sniffling was annoying. Luther Shiang assumed the worse at first, that something had gone wrong in the fight. A broken bone maybe. The boy had been crying so badly, but trying to hold it in. The result was a weird honking and shudder every time he drew a breath with that body of his. Mr. Shiang, being the distant [though caring] man he was, sent the boy off to the nurse without a word of comfort nor fault.
When he discovered that there was nothing wrong with Loz except for a few scratches, Luther rode it off as nerves. It was the boy's first year at this school, and he had never set foot in the principle's office. Not to mention, for an elementary school, Luther Shiang was your stereotypical cold hearted principle rumored to eat children alive when no one's watching.
But after the six or seventh time, the pale man with his prim ponytail had began to suspect Loz's crying as something of a sympathy card. He was a fighter, prone to getting in trouble. So why is it every time he was hauled in, the waterworks start? Nevertheless, Luther was pretty sick of it. Regardless of how rich his snob of a father was, he would no longer tolerate any of this horseplay in his school.
"Mr. Sephiroth," Luther glanced at the young father with his own aged eyes, putting the man in his place. "Mr. Kray, in case you have not been informed, this has been the fourth time your boys have been called into the office this month."
Loz sniffled and hiccup. His father, hovering over him, shot him such a glare that the boy swallowed the next hiccup, making him jitter in his seat.
Luther glanced at the silver headed family, silently judging. He gave Sephiroth another warning glare. "As you can see, the two has been fighting non-stop--"
"HE started it!" A squeaky wet voice burst out, followed by a wobbly sob. "I heard Arianne tell him to push Yaz off of the swings! He's the bad guy--"
Luther's eyes flashed and Loz clamped up.
"Are you saying Arianne...my daughter started this?"
~~~~
"Hey, girl," a small giggly voice interrupted Yazoo's musing. "Your brother put up a good fight today." She stepped out from behind a tree, having been watching the whole scene from the branches. "Too bad my daddy's going to put him in detention for a month." Brushing back smooth black hair, the girl who's skin matched her father's deathly paleness stared greedily at the other. Like the boy, who exhibited mature-ness beyond that of his peers, Arianne Shiang had a certain demonic quality to her, like the ghost children of horror movies. You just know there's something wrong with her. Something that everyone sees except for Luther, blinded by his love for his only child. She was the Queen of the Playgrounds. Almost all the children feared her. Everyone except these two brothers. And it bothered her little brain, unable to comprehend such disobedience.
"You can fight back all you want, freak." Ari laughed. "but this is my playground, my school, and my treasure. Your little crybaby of a brother will soon be mine too..." [/blockquote]
Yazoo didn't look at Arianne right away, and instead continued chewing his watermelon and vanilla bubblegum that his dad had sent him specially from some place a far way away. When he did look over at Arianne, he was smiling, but not a nice smile. It was a cruel, mean smile. It was the kind of smile that made you feel uneasy. It was a smile that Yazoo had picked up from his father. "Hey, boyface." He said back, without missing a beat. If Ari was going to try and pick a fight with him, she was going to get her head crushed. He had better grades in both reading and spelling and they both knew it. He twirled a lock of hair around his finger. "My dad can beat your dad up." Was all he said, but he felt like it meaned more than that.
~~*~~*~~*
Lysander swallowed hard and send a silent prayer thanking the silver haired boy for having said something in such a strange and awkward position for him. He was going to open his mouth and suggest that the notion might not be so absurd before a voice cut out in front of him. "What?! No way!" A young, strong voice cut in before anything else could happen. It was Torus, and he was freaking out about Arianne getting in trouble, so he did the first thing he knew to do. And that was get angry. And the second, which was to lie. "Don't even think about blaming a little girl, crybaby! I picked a fight with you cuz your hair is stupid!" He cried, and Lysander immediately shushed him.
But Sephiroth's leer had caught them both.
The outburst of story between the two were about as different as day and night. Luther could not help his biases. He trained his eyes on the redhead with a look that brought displeasure upon the silver head business man. He did not waste time to come here only to be put in place by a peasant.
"Mr. Shiang." Luther turned his head to give his full attention to Sephiroth, knowing what was to come. He had not been cautious enough with his own prejudice, exhibiting it so blatantly in front of two prestigious parents of talented children [child]. "Your daughter is not the matter at hand. I would like to hear about my child's punishment for..." Sephiroth's cold green gaze lingered with disdain on the redhead's small size. Loz gave another sniffle. "...causing destruction."
Luther, still unwilling to give any sign of emotions [something that scared the children of his school witless], did a quick double-take between the two children.
"This is their last warning. Since the beginning of school, your children have been causing ruckus none stop. The next time they are to be sent to my office, it will be their last trip."
He would have gone on if not for the fact that Loz suddenly gave a frightful wail, unable to restrain his tears and comprehend the fact of getting kicked out of school and that the other had picked a fight with him because of his hair which was BEAUTIFUL in every single way possible for a child of nine. No one could speak beyond the fog horn cries of his and thus, the meeting was adjourned.
~~~
Like a porcupine, the minute the boy had insulted her father, the girl blew up into spikes. "My daddy is richer than yours!" She cried, gritting her teeth in fury. "And he actually loves me!" She knew. Everyone knew. The Silver Haired father of the Silver Haired siblings was a man who loved money and power more than anything. It was a hard concept for some to grasp, but most knew that he treated his children differently than how their father's treat them. Especially Arianne, who was doted by her father in every way possible. No one like to be told they they were unloved by the very person who had raised them though...however true that was. Arianne's yellow eyes glinted in glee, hoping to see some kind of reaction from the boy.
~~~
Sephiroth walked out of the meeting, his iron grip on Loz's wrist, and tugged him along the empty playground. The children were in class, but the father knew that his second eldest child would skip class just to get the chance to see him, which was a rare thing indeed. Call it a father's instinct. He knows that out of the three sibling, Yazoo was by far the brightest. For now. This useless lump of tears on the other hand...
He spotted Yazoo's bright silver hair glinting under the tree. He spotted another child. A girl with black hair and placid complexion. Unlike her father, she was full of emotions, outbursts, tantrums. The stereotypical spoiled child.
The minute she spotted him though, the anger drained from her face, replaced by terrified surprise. She turned and ran, back towards the school grounds, away from this strange family.
"Yazoo," Sephiroth approached his second son, dropping Loz next to him. "Was that Luther Shiang's daughter?" No hello, how are you, or any affection of sorts. Sephiroth glanced at his watch, impatient to get on his way. He was already a few minutes late. [/blockquote]
[since this started in the speed RP board, I'm running off the assumption that tiny micro-posts are still okay.]
Lysander took his boy outside of the hallway, for a good shouting at. It was to be expected of a repeatedly disappointed father who was nearing the brink of exhaustion. Torus had just been kicking him around left and right lately, and this had just been the jab that knocked the boxer over. However, as natural as this was, what was especially rude to the eyes, was the fact Torus returned the shouting in kind. Lysander grabbed him by the ear, and dragged him to his next class to publicly apologize to his teacher. That should show the little turd some humility.
~~~
Yazoo didn't say anything at the comment about his father, just stared at the girl oddly, tilting his head slightly. His eyes narrowed, and his lips drew tight into just the barest frown. But a dark, hateful look clouded his eyes, even though his expression barely changed. "Does your daddy have your favorite bubble gum flavored memorized? Does he have it memorized, because he likes the same flavor? My daddy loves me more than you could ever understand." He growled in a low whisper, before looking up to see his father. His angry expression didn't change much, except maybe mellow out a little.
He even smirked a little when Arianne ran away. "Yes. That's Arianne She-Angrymonster, Papa."

“Hmph.” It was a little dismissive grunt. It was only out of necessity that he asked about her, caring very little whether she was Yazoo’s crush or some just some girl, just a little conversation starter. Sephiroth thought himself above this kind of human drama. The Father stared at the two with clear indifference.
“This…better not happen again,” the warning was as much for Loz as it was for Yazoo to keep his brother from such stupidity. Stiffly, he patted the Yazoo on the head and spared Loz another smoldering glare before turning to take his leave. “I’ll be back by next Tuesday.”
And with that, he was gone…
Long after Sephiroth was gone, Loz turned to his silver haired brother. A grin appeared on his bruised blotchy face. “Did I smack him good, Yaz?” [/blockquote]
