Name
Ava Wallace.
Age
Appears, 27. Actually, 48.
Birthplace
Village, Anta. World, Haven.
Gender
Female.
Race
Shetari – On Ava’s home world of Haven, there exists a race of people known as the Shetari, who, according to legend, were created by the Goddess, I’eva. Immediately recognizable by the Goddess’ mark, in a different spot on each member of the race’s body, the Shetari are essentially warriors with inhuman gifts. Gifts like superhuman speed, or the ability to duplicate oneself. Gifts that caused the Shetari to be feared by the general populace, who simply did not understand them. And yet, due to these gifts, they were also considered to be the leaders of Haven, though there was not a soul that was too happy about it.
Special Class
Tamer.

~ Appearance ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ava Wallace is a statuesque woman, and though there are several things about her that many people tend to notice immediately, her height is generally one of, if not the first, thing that catch people’s attention. She is a broad, tall woman, and though she is rather slender, it is obvious that she is, at least to some degree, well-kept. While not quite reaching Amazonian standards, Ava tends to tower over most woman her age, and, well, most woman period. Her slightly larger than average hands and feet tend to set her apart from those dainty women that she seems to encounter so often, and the flash of red hair that falls straight from her head in combination with her dazzlingly green eyes make Ava a rather striking figure. She is a handsome woman, some would say, and does take care of herself, though doing so tends to take a great deal of work, which tends to have wear on a woman. And on occasion, try as she may to hide it, those lines of exhaustion show on her face. She is not wrinkled, no, but she certainly can’t pass for twenty-five anymore, that much is for sure. Regardless, she wears her age well and has no real desire to look any younger than she actually is, as she feels that her appearance, worked as it may be, gives her an air of dignity and wisdom often unseen these days.
A woman of modesty and modest means as well, Ava is certainly not the type who is often prone to displaying her body in any ostentatious, or pretentious manner. She prefers to dress rather simply, traditionally choosing to stick to somewhat loose, comfortable clothing. Ava also has little desire to impress anyone; however, she does just enough to make herself look presentable and professional, even if she knows she is going out into the heat of battle. Of course, she does not believe that a woman should be painted constantly, and as such, she doesn’t attempt to make herself look unnatural through the usage of whatever products some women seem to miraculously find. Rather, she prefers to just look the way she does: natural. Though it is hardly worth noting, due to the fact that she so seldom dresses in such a way, Ava has been known to wear gowns and other such formal wear on occasion. But not often.
Interestingly enough, due to her status as a Shetari, Ava looks quite a bit more youthful than she truly is.
~ Personality ~
Alignment
Neutral.
Behavior
Life... well, life has never been all that nice to Ava. And in turn, Ava’s learned to be just as cruel to life. She is not a malicious woman, nor would she ever even dream of being evil or villainous in any capacity. Rather, Ava is a tough woman. Some could sat that she is harsh, and rough around the edges, even going as far as to compare her to a brick wall; stiff and inflexible. And while at one time, she was an open minded woman with a large, vulnerable, and empathetic heart, she’s become, put simply, a rational woman. She makes her opinions by grounding them in her own logic, and beliefs, and once she sets her mind to something, her resolve cannot be swayed. Ava, never having truly been a member of any one group, is a being who acts of her own volition and does what she wants to, no matter what anyone else desires her to. As such, she likes to think of herself as a woman who cannot be ‘controlled’, and never finds herself allied with any one group for too long, simply because she cannot stand the idea of being forced to do something she does not want to for the benefit of someone she is supposed to consider to be her ‘superior.’ Of course, she has, in her life, learned that on occasion, one must do what needs to be done, should they want to get their way. But she’s also learned that one has to fight for what they believe in and that, in doing so, they should never sacrifice their own beliefs and well being to serve another. Ava has been tough for most of her life, and no matter what group she aligns herself with, it is unlikely that it will change.
Ava is not the type of lady to trust the intentions of others. Having been manipulated time and time again throughout her life, she has learned never to attempt to get close to another. Particularly not in the romantic sense. While it is true that she has some interest in those of the opposite gender, she has decided long ago that she would rather be thought of as a ‘spinster’ than be used or taken advantage of by people who don’t even understand her. Even so, despite her lack of love for... well, love, Ava truly does care for people, which is exactly why she began her journey around the worlds in the first place. She is a nurturer first and foremost, albeit a firm one, and it is important to her that those she is taking care of are well cared for. As a ‘guardian’ of sorts, Ava finds herself constantly irritated by those who would only worsen their conditions by continuing to fight, or travel, despite her constant reminders that it is an awful idea. Ava, after all, tends to feel that she knows exactly what she is talking about and isn’t a fan of people trying to tell her that she is wrong. This is another reason why she tends to stay isolated from many. She has no desire to argue with another person because she tends to believe that she is right and would rather be alone than argue with someone, or a group of people, who oftentimes won’t see things her way. A certain vice of Ava’s is walking out on others or betraying causes entirely because she values her independence, and is certainly not a fan of being disagreed with. Her view on the Heartless, for example, has certainly estranged her from those that she cares for because while one side, the humans, tend to believe that the Heartless are just creatures they can hunt down and slaughter, she seems to be the only one to realize that they aren’t entirely evil. No, Ava would prefer to just live out her days in quiet, happy hiding, searching for some way to build a kingdom in which people would share her ideals. In her eyes, safety is better than violence, and certainly better than making a victim out of oneself.
Ava is a particularly strong willed individual, and that strong will makes her a natural, capable leader. Though she has been known for falling in step with others on occasion, she is particularly preoccupied with the idea of running things her own way, and earning what she needs to herself, rather than having to rely on others. She wants to march to the beat of her own drum, or something to that effect. She finds that she is not one for idle banter, and has little time to bother with things that are either unimportant, or that will not help her build that ideal kingdom she desires so badly. She can sometimes succumb to what some psychologists call ‘tunnel vision’ which causes her, at times, to be so intent on having things go the way she wants them to that she sometimes ignores things that would, ultimately, lead to her success. That alone is one of the main things preventing her from being the leader she aspires so badly to be, but as some people seem prone to following people who honestly believe that they know where they’re going, Ava tends to be seen as a more mature and wise person than most, due to her experience and her general skepticism towards the world at large.
~ Weapons ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Primary Weapon
Despite her status as a member of the Shetari granting her rather remarkable abilities, Ava has also preferred to train in the use of various weapons, should she ever need to actually use them. Because of this, she has become what some may call a ‘master’ of weapons, as is made evident by the fact that she carries five weapons on her at all times. What really sets her apart from others proficient in the use of weaponry is that she prefers to utilize weapons that are not widely used, and, usually, are only really seen in the possession of one or two warriors in the entire world.
ID
Prismatic Mystery
Quality
Average.
The first weapon in Ava’s arsenal, and perhaps the one that is most often used, is a Gunblade known as the Prismatic Mystery. Named for the dazzling white color of the entire weapon, this particular Gunblade has a handle vaguely resembling a shotgun, with an angel wing motif just above the trigger. The wing extends back over the handle of the weapon, acting as a hand guard of sorts, which is essential when facing off against opponents using similarly bladed weapons. Despite the ‘Gun-‘ prefix to the weapon’s name, it is worth noting that it cannot actually be used as a gun. Rather, where the barrel would be, the blade portion of the weapon extends, causing many to theorize that the barrel is actually inside of the blade. Possible, considering that other Gunblade users have been known to set off concussive blasts not unlike the natural knockback caused when using a real gun, but nonetheless, the weapon cannot actually fire off any rounds. The blade that extends from the handle is about three and a half feet in length, though only the bottom edge of it is sharp, making it perfectly safe for Ava to place a hand on the top, should she ever need to. The width of the blade is just like that of any other bladed weapon, only a few inches thick to prevent it from weighing more than it needs to.
Secondary Weapons
ID
[ Angel’s Tear ]
An ideal weapon for ranged fighting, Ava carries a weapon known as the Angel’s Tear, a brand of Pinwheel known for it’s angel wing motif, much like her Gunblade. Attached to her right wrist, this weapon is circular in shape, colored black with silver around the outer edge. Razor-sharp, this weapon can be fired from it’s launcher, reaching distances of up to ten feet, though it only moves at about five miles an hour. A rather interesting feature of the weapon is that it can be folded up against her arm for convenience’s sake, though, when activated, can be unfolded and ready for use within seconds.
ID
[ Dragon’s Tail ]
Known as the Dragon’s Tail, the whip that Ava carries actually looks quite a bit like it’s name implies. Red in color, turning into a yellow color at the end, the entire weapon is about twelve feet in length. Not exactly efficient as a weapon, this whip can be used rather well to traverse the environment, such as wrapping it around an object on the top of a building to pull herself up. Regardless, it can be used as a weapon if need be, leaving angry red marks wherever it makes contact with the skin of her foes. Residing in a holster on her right hip when not in use, Ava is rather skilled in having it out and ready for use incredibly quickly.
ID
[ Star Fall ]
The Star Fall is a pair of almost comically over-sized nunchaku, each handle about the length of Ava’s arm, with the connecting chain reaching a length of about five feet when stretched taut. But despite this fact, the weapon is nearly weightless, enabling Ava to use it efficiently, despite it’s ridiculous size. What makes this weapon in particular better than most nunchaku out there is that Ava can use it from a bit further away, due to the weapon’s size. Just because an enemy thinks that they are out of range doesn’t mean they are.
ID
[ Merciless Heaven ]
The final weapon in Ava’s arsenal, the Merciless Heaven, is basically a shotgun, black in color, though the underside of the weapon is painted crimson, almost as though someone has coated it in blood. Other than that, it is much like any other shotgun, in that it weighs a fair bit, is capable of firing at foes from a fair distance away, and is a fair bit more effective from up close than afar. It sits in a holster on Ava’s back when not in use, and she can, much like her other weapons, have it out and ready in seconds.
ID
[ Mysterious Pendant ]
A strange pendant Ava discovered shortly after the beginning of her journey. Though it looks rather unremarkable, being silver in color and hanging on a completely ordinary silver chain, there is just something about it that prevents her from letting it out of her sight.
ID
[ Mark of I’eva ]
The mark given to her at birth by I’eva herself, this mark is actually the source of her incredible powers. Placed on her chest, it looks like some sort of sleeping angel, with ancient runes in a circle around it. When utilizing her powers, the mark glows faintly, for some odd reason.

~ Abilities ~

AP left: 0.
[ Mind Link ]
Being a rather accomplished telepath herself, it should come as no surprise that conversing with others using only her mind is almost second nature to her now. However, rather than simply speaking to a single individual, as she used to, her powers have developed to the point that she can now connect her mind with any number of people, so long as they are within a range of about fifty feet of her location. Though this ability is useful on it’s own, as it makes contact between herself and whatever allies she may be aligned with at the time a breeze, it also enhances the defensive capabilities of all allies, allied controlled minions and summons, as well as her own minions. Any being that fits into one of those categories has their defensive capabilities enhanced by 25%, as long as they remain within that fifty foot range. One important thing to note is, though the defensive capabilities completely wear off, telepathic communication is still very possible, even outside of that range. In fact, she is able to, theoretically, speak with her allies from up to one hundred feet, though any distance past fifty feet causes a fair amount of strain on the link, and causes the messages to become jumbled and difficult to understand.
Strength
Moderate.
Uses

[ Mists of I'eva ]
A strange secondary power granted to Ava by I’eva comes in the form of mists that come straight from the marking on her chest. This mist extends outwards to a range of about thirty feet, cutting down visibility for all unallied forces to but a few feet in front of them. All allies are able to see clearly through the mist simply due to the nature of the ability, making it perfect for quick escapes, or surprise attacks. Not only does this mist extend across the ground, it also extends upwards to about twenty feet, meaning that no foe without an ability or equip that enhances their jumping ability can escape the mists, unless they move out of the range it extends on the ground.

Name
The Shield, Alejandro.
Appearance
First glances at Alejandro – and second and third glances, really – tell most people that he is certainly not someone who they would want to entrust, for example, with the safety of their children. As far as appearances go, the air about him certainly isn’t much better. Hardened by battles and ordeals that the powers at work so often throw at him, there’s just an air of danger and mystery that wrap themselves around him like a second skin, only adding t the unnerving, massive amount of badassery he has about him. Healthy, virile, and in his prime despite the fact that he has been around for far longer than most other warriors these days, the Fist’s ability give to him as a member of the Shetari has certainly altered his appearance. He carries the musculature of a finely sculpted athlete that would put most other males to shame. Broad-shouldered and long limbed, with muscles toned to perfection by his unnatural ability, Alejandro’s body is certainly formidable, as is made even more evident by his choice of clothing. Or... lack thereof. For whatever reason, Alejandro has chosen to wear naught but a pair of worn pants and a headband around his forehead. The rest of his body, including his torso and his feet, are left bare, which is rather idiotic to some, especially considering that he is often going up against foes with swords and axes, but he has his reasons.
Abilities
[ Living Juggernaut ]
While the ability given to Ava due to her status as a Shetari is powerful enough, some could say that Alejandro’s puts it to shame, despite the fact that she is his superior. Put simply, Alejandro’s ability is that of superhuman strength, enabling him to lift up to and including four hundred pounds, which also extends into his punches and kicks. While he is nowhere near powerful enough to defeat an individual with a single punch, any physical contact he makes with an opponent is, for instance, strong enough to knock them back several feet, even if they happen to be wearing incredibly heavy armor. Also, this strength allows him to simply punch through even stone walls with about four punches, a feat that very few people can admit to doing. He doesn’t like to have to punch people as hard as he can, but if he must, he will.
Strength
Moderate.
Uses
Passive.
[ Kinetic Absorption ]
But as strong as he is, Alejandro’s true power lies in this ability right here. Simply put, he is able to absorb the energy created from any physical attack, causing it to immediately augment his strength by varying degrees, depending on the strength of the ability he is being struck with. The abilities still hurt him as much as they normally would, yes, but each and every physical attack only makes him stronger. For example, if he was to be struck about forty times with a weapon, his strength would be high enough for him to lift upwards of one thousand pounds, making him a rather extraordinary individual. Do not be mistaken, however, as he is not anywhere near invincible because of this ability. For instance, if one were to drop, say, a wardrobe on top of him, weighing more than four hundred pounds, for whatever reason, chances are that he would be crushed. He would absorb the energy, yes, but the object would still crush him. It is also important to note that, should one post go by without Alejandro being struck by a physical attack, his strength would return to it’s normal values once more.

~ History ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ava Wallace was born in Anta to a married couple by the names of Amelia and Xavier. Born as a member of the Shetari, as made evident by the marking on her chest, much of her early life was spent living in excess, due to her being worshiped as both a Goddess and a leader of the people of Haven. And when she reached her teenage years, she became a fully fledged leader of the planet, simply enjoying an unnaturally simple life. Eventually, however, her powers manifested in full. Ava found herself hearing thoughts in her head, in voices that most certainly were not her own. This went on for some time, but Ava said not a word to anyone, out of fear that she was going insane. For you see, the leaders of Haven were never actually told why they were worshiped until their powers manifested in full, often causing confusion and fear in the uninformed beings. Still, her personal ambition she had developed – to create a kingdom where people could live without considering the Heartless as a threat, as, in her mind, they weren’t – would not allow this strange problem to overtake her life, and so she sought out the counsel of her fellow leaders, believing that something was wrong with her. Eventually she was told the truth, much to the young woman’s relief. She was not, in fact, going crazy. No, she was doing some much, much cooler.
Knowing that she was not allowed to develop her powers further while a leader of Haven – as the residents had forbidden it, already in fear of the strange powers their leaders possessed – she escaped her home. She destroyed all of the photos of herself, in the hopes of preventing her parents from having to be reminded of her every time that they walked past the pictures. Escaping to a strange, more secluded world, Ava found herself, inexplicably, being taken into an unfamiliar tribe, which, though she was unaware of doing so, was as a result of her telepathy becoming stronger. Beginning to serve as a ‘healer’, curing the mentally ill through the use of her abilities, she began to train in the use of both her abilities and various weapons in her off time, and found that if she focused, she could actually control it. Still, it was rather taxing to do so in the nascent stages of her training, and generally she couldn’t gain the amount of willpower to use her ability without seeping. Somehow, despite the fact that she was incredibly tired every day as a result of her powers and occupation, she still managed to remain rather optimistic and energized.
One day, however, she found that she was a fair bit more tired than she thought. As she was making her way through the dense jungles after a trip to collect water, she didn’t notice the sound of Heartless coming towards her. Only at the last moment did she realize that she was in harm’s way, and though she did attempt to draw her weapons to defend herself – though she certainly wasn’t happy about it, viewing the Heartless as creatures who deserved as much respect as any other creatures – the creatures knocked her unconscious, dragging her along with them into the shadows. Oddly enough, she awoke some time later, her powers having saved her from being annihilated. But what she had not realized was that her journey into the darkness, something that was not done by most living beings, had put her in a form of stasis, keeping her the same as time passed out in the realm of the light. Upon her return to the realm, exactly 21 years had passed, leaving her lost and afraid in a universe years ahead of the one she had known. And yet, she was thankful. Through some strange, twisted logic, she was thankful to the Heartless for sparing her life, thinking that it had been them, not her, who had kept her alive. This event only strengthened her desire to form a land where the creatures of darkness would be looked at as though they were any other animal, and not senselessly slaughtered the way they happened to be. This ideal sticking with her even to this day, Ava has found herself traversing the worlds, seeking out others who share the same mindset.
