(I have no idea where else to put this, oh great staff, and I think it's fitting here. XD)

WELCOME TO PRYTHIAN'S...

ABILITY HELP SHOP!

As some of you may know, I am an (admittedly somewhat self-proclaimed) ability genius. By that, I mean that I am good at MAKING abilities, COMING UP WITH IDEAS for abilities, and USING abilities. (If you don't know, ask someone that knows. Either someone on the satisfied customers list, or, if you're my first customer, Angelus or Rocket.)

As it turns out, those are the three services I offer in this shop.

• Ability Ideas: Given the proper information, I will come up with fitting and incredible ideas for abilities for you. Please note that the more information you give me, the more fitting the abilities will be.
  
• Making Abilities: Again, given the proper information, I can word an ability for you in a way to make it likely to be accepted. Please note that depending on what you ask, it may require two or three abilities.
  
• Using Abilities: Simply link to your profile, tell me what ability or abilities you want me to look at, and I will do my best to come up with new uses for your ability to you probably don't already know and/or creative combinations of your abilities.
  

Note: For all of these services, you may do it over PM is you wish; however, this only really useful for Using Abilities, as the other two will be revealed when your character is made or when you add them to your character.

Note2: You may, of course, request more than one service at a time.


Now, of course, I don't intend to offer these services for free. But I will provide your chosen service(s) and determine if you're satisfied with it BEFORE I ask for munny, because there's no point in paying me if you don't use what I've given you.

And besides, the prices are pocket change, see?

Not actually asking for anything, (not yet, anyway) but I wanted to say that this sounds like a fantastic idea to me. Abilities aren't easy to write. XD. I'll probably end up requesting your services sometime soon, so keep an eye out.

Interesting, interesting...

I would like some help getting the most out of Illyas' Weak Passive Ability. Essentially I want to pack it with as much "Illyas is a DAMN good archer!" as possible in a Weak Passive Ability. Here's what I have so far:


[Overwork Elegy]

Through years of training, Illyas has gained a mastery of all four archery stances (Even, Open, Closed, Oblique) and is capable of quickly getting into them in almost any situation. Most notable is his ability to go from a full out run and stop in his stance of choice perfectly, letting him fire off an arrow before he even stops and having another arrow ready to fire before the first has even reached its target. In fact, he can even has the rather impressive ability to load and fire two arrows at a time, though his aim is only at about 75% when doing so.

So I guess the request template is:

Description of Results: The wording of the Weak Passive Ability should highlight Illyas' mastery of archery as greatly as possible for its limits. I'm fond of the name, so don't be changing that.

Hmmmmm...

Let's see here... Right now, it currently allows for firing two shots at once, while being able to change into four stances of archery rapidly, and rapid reloading... And mentioning the stances by name indicates very good control over them, meaning there will be few deviations to cause problems... Heck, with the current phrasing it includes the ability to stop in a split second as well no matter how fast you're running.

You don't NEED my help. XD There's very little that can be done to make that passive ability stronger, as evidenced by my list of the benefits of it.

Thanks though, guess I did well enough. I'll come back once I upgrade it to Moderate and have you fix it up, since I'm personally at a loss as to how to make it better.

Description of Results: Vexen being capable of creating, shaping, and telekinetically moving anything that is ice in as versatile a fashion as possible, allowing for defensive and offensive capabilities. Anything from ice structures (needles, snow in general, ice wall) to moving the ice structures (send the needles flying through the air like this at 3:23) or dissipating the ice wall at will.
Preferable Number of Abilities: 1. I totally expect it'll take two or three abilities to do. But it's infinitely preferable to have just the one. xD

Description of Results: Something like this little video, hm? Around 5:31, the homing trail of water pillars, that come up in a burst at the end, if you don't mind.
Preferable Number of Abilities: ...Probably Inf. It's gonna be a strong ability.

Rocket:

For you I managed to make it one ability. However, the cooldown will have to be added by you.

Ability Name: Temperature Control
Ability Description: Vexen possesses the ability to alter the temperature of the air. Because of this, he can do several things. Notably, he can cool the air enough to condense and freeze water out of it, forming ice and snow in any shape or form. By doing this, he can also melt and dissipate cold objects rapidly. By doing this, it gives him the illusion of moving ice; melting and freezing new ice makes it seem like the ice is flying through the air. He cannot start this ability specifically near a person, but if he starts it at one place and simply makes it appear to be moving, he can attack with his ice.
Ability Strength: Strong
Use: Blank

...Now, an explanation: Essentially, you aren't telekinetically moving the ice. What you're doing is creating the illusion of doing so. You can still attack with ice needles so long as you start AWAY from a person; outside a certain range (to be decided by you.) That's just an example, but essentially it's designed that by starting outside the range the limitation of controlling temperature no longer applies if you move it. Otherwise, it'd be unavoidable.

The range, usage limit, and cooldowns are to be added in by you.

Now for two abilities, if this doesn't fly, simply take the temperature control aspect and then give Vexen an ability to telekinetically move ice. This was merely my attempt to make it one ability.

...This is ridiculously easy. I'm ashamed.

Ability Name: Water Burst(Or whatever the heck you call it)
Ability Description: Demyx utilizes his control over water to send a line of extremely dense water pillars at a chosen enemy within 50 feet. This line will automatically home in on them, and when it draws close enough, a large number of water pillars will burst forth out of the ground. This burst will do massive damage if it hits. The pillars are about 10 feet tall.
Ability Strength: Strong
Use: Infinite, 1 post cooldown.

...Do note this is an incredibly easy ability to dodge.
