A hollow sigh rang out throughout the empty mansion. Or, rather, somewhat empty, as there was a being on the premises. Well, two thirds of a being, technically, but the Nobody was not worried about technicalities at that moment. He had more pressing matters at hand.
Or rather, in his hands. Papers of all sorts were thrown about the library of the mansion, books in various different positions all over the room. But, after searching the whole first floor of the building and, finally, the library, Xemnas was running out of places to search.
Having read the last of the papers, the former Superior walked out of the room and floated toward the last doorway. He put his hand on the handle, opening the door slowly, and seeing...

[OOC: Suuuure you aren't]
Namine wasn't exactly sure what brought her to the Abandoned Manor, but here she was. She had walked here, wearing her new outfit (see Alt. Outfit on profile), so the tennis shoes she was wearing crunched softly on the lawn in front of the manor.
Walking in, she stopped as she heard a sound in a room off to the side. Was it like Hayner, a boy she'd met in town a few days ago, said? Was this place haunted. It hadn't been the last time she was here, but it couldn't hurt to be sure...
"H-hello? Is there someone here?"

...nothing as he turned around, hearing a voice that he somehow remembered. He had heard it before, perhaps a year before... Was it Namine? He had thought she had rejoined her Somebody, but he would have thought himself gone as well.
Floating over the railing, he saw that it was in fact her. "Namine, a surprise to see you after all of this time." His voice didn't sound too surprised, but it was hard to hear any emotion in the emotionless Nobody. "It is good to see you well." Xemnas, after all, supposed it would be good for him, knowing that he could now use her to attempt to reclaim lost status and power.

At the response to her call, Namine was relieved. It meant that it wasn't in fact a ghost in the manor, but a person.
...It was a different story when she saw just who it was in the manor.
The blonde girl stiffened as she looked up to meet the eyes of the person who responded to her. 'Wh-what!?' the girl thought to herself, 'Xemnas!? But, he's dead! Sora killed him!'
"Ah..." The girl's sentence died in her mouth as she began to say it, as her rather justified fear of the Organization leader had effectively shut her mouth.

Xemnas smiled, a hollow gesture though it was, and floated down to land in front of the terrified girl. He held his arms out as if for an embrace, and said, "Why are you so afraid, Namine? It is not as if I mean you great harm."
And it was, after all, the truth. Xemnas meant her no harm. He, in fact, wished to ensure that she did, in fact, receive no harm. She was the only asset he had available to him at that moment, and, as such, he was reluctant to part with her for an instant.
"How have you been since the fall of the Organization?" There, it was verbalized. Xemnas had finally spoken of the Organization's fall, and for the first time aloud since the occurrence. He did not realize, at this point, what had happened to the rest of the members of his Organization. If he had, he would not be very forgiving of them. Not very forgiving at all.

Namine took a single step back as Xemnas landed in front of her, her face remaining still as he informed her of his intentions, or rather, lack of intentions.
Figuring honest was the best policy in this case, seeing as the man in front of her could skewer her with lasers if he so wished, she answered, "I'm okay... I'm not entirely sure how I left Kairi though. I've been looking for my friends though, but I haven't found anyone."
Her voice was soft, and shaking slightly from the still present fear of Xemnas.
"How...how are you even still here? I thought Sora and Riku had destroyed you."
The question, while pretty impertinent, was something that she couldn't stop herself from asking.

Xemnas continued his charade. The question asked of him, however impertinent, was truly useful to his cause. "Ah, yes, you wonder how I survived? I forced the darkness to release its hold on me, of course." He said it as if any could do it, which he supposed they could...if they were Nobodies named Xemnas >.>
"It is gladdening to hear that you have been doing well." Xemnas said, looking into her eyes. She was so terrified of him, and of what he was capable of. It made him think no less of her, however, because he knew it was from her connection to her Somebody Kairi's weak emotions in her heart.

[Draco: Just had great and evil Idea. I'll IM you about it later.]
Namine shuddered inwardly as Xemnas told her just how he revived. He really was as powerful as she remembered, to not even let death keep him down. Not a good sign for anyone he wanted dead, and Namine was sure that some of her friends, namely Sora, Riku, and King Mickey at least, were on that list.
"Ah, so, um...What have you been doing since you broke free of the Darkness?" She figured skirting the issue of his revival wasn't an option, and that being polite was the best, and most likely only option here.

Xemnas' lips pursed, and the corner of his mouth twisted downward. The fake frown on his face said it all. "I have been searching for the remnants of my Organization." There was a slight emphasis on the 'my', as if enforcing that even though he had been gone for some time, it was still his Organization.
"Have you perhaps stumbled upon any of the remnants?" Xemnas asked her, the frown remaining on his face. It showed exactly how successful he had been thus far. Thus far, only papers of no import had been discovered.

"Ah, no. I haven't seen anyone from the Organization. I've been looking for Roxas though. I'm pretty sure that if I got out of Kairi's heart, then he got out of Sora's."
Namine wasn't even sure why she was telling Xemnas this. Probably her mental filters weren't working at full capacity from the fear. Yeah, that was probably it.
"I haven't even found him though..." The small Nobody looked positively crushed at this, and the look she had would have been enough to almost make even Sephiroth feel sorry for her. Almost.

Taking a few steps towards the entrance, Xemnas nodded. He should have known she would search for Roxas. Due to their connection to their Somebodies, the two Nobodies likely held a similar relationship. "I do hope you can find Roxas. He is a piece of my Organization, after all."
Turning, Xemnas put a hand into the inside of his cloak, pulling out a charm, the symbol of the Nobodies on a chain. "Here," he held the charm out to Namine. "This is a charm that you can use as a beacon. If you should hold it in your hands and say the words 'nothing is eternal', I will immediately find you and use a portal of darkness to reach you.
"But, Namine, you must remember to use this merely if you truly need me." Xemnas put a disarming smile on his face, the lack of practice showing anyway, though. This way, he thought, if she should find the remnants of my Organization, I can find her and regain control of them.

Namine took the small charm with a murmured thanks, slipping it into her pocket among the other small charms she had, although the other ones were for attacks and magic, not portals.
She wasn't fooled by Xemnas' fake smile though, she knew he was just using her.
However, if he wasn't going to attack her and drag her off somewhere, she'd gladly take a small charm in place of that.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, 10 Shadows, 3 Soldiers, and a Large Body appeared, arriving through their dark portals. Xemnas turned to face them, standing somewhat protectively in front of Naminé. She was, after all, likely to run into Roxas, who was likely to run into other members of the Organization. If she got destroyed, that left him with nothing.
Drawing his ethereal blades, Xemnas let a smirk slide onto his face as he charged the Heartless, floating above the ground. Two orbs of red energy floated towards the adversaries, stopping in midair. Xemnas himself charged ahead and slashed one of the Shadows. The creature dissipated as Xemnas moved on to attack more of the creatures, drawing their attention.

Namine was somewhat surprised when Xemnas moved to defend her. She was almost sure it was just a coincidence, but...
As he began to attack the enemies, she moved from behind him, drew a charm out of her pocket, pointed it at the Soldiers, and said, "Ragnarok!"
The ensuing hail of light energy tore through two of the soldiers, and injured the last, which began charging Namine.

Xemnas turned, slashing through another Shadow. He noticed the Soldier rushing Naminé and pointed his arm at the Heartless, bolts of red lightning arcing into the creature, destroying it just as it leapt to claw the young Nobody.
Giving her a small nod, Xemnas turned back to his foes. Floating into the air, Xemnas watched as his balls of energy burst, the energy from the attacks damaging all of the Heartless, but killing none of them. A few Shadows went to attack Naminé, and Xemnas point his left energy blade at them, shouting, "Naminé!" She would understand what he meant, and he would likely not have to go over there and save her.
The rest of the Heartless were dead set on trying to figure out some way to reach Xemnas and strike him, although none of them could reach him.
