Boom.
Perhaps the only word that was going through her mind at the moment. Launching a Fire spell at one of those rockets wasn't the best idea, according to her later judgment. However she had disposed of the remaining heartless that surrounded her at the time. Including that big nasty one with a crooked spear. Looked very similar to a machine she once piloted whilst under some crazy clowns influence. That was a story for another time however. For now she winced as the ringing in her ears was becoming quite painful. Somehow she had survived such a powerful explosion. An occurrence that was happening a bit too often to be just coincidence. "My powers?" she wondered to herself beginning the cycle of doubt to perseverance and back again.
Within a few seconds the ringing had stopped and she was now alone in the clearing. Beneath her feet was solid rock, a little wet but it was still solid. Looking in front of her was the motionless sentinel of a mountain. A small gap of rocks showed the road of ascension in which was something she really didn't want to do. Turning away for a second, her hand clutched to her chest, she eyed the capital with a worried expression on her face. Terra, as she was called, had enjoyed her time she spent there. Only a few hours mind you but she forgot all her troubles. Then that cycle kicked in once again.
Remembering the small settlement she had passed on the way down, the Esperkin thought it would be better to stay there for the rest of the day. Less people would mean less destruction if she were to ever lose control. A saddened look spread on her face. One glance and you could be infected by such sorrow. Her mind wandered back to that fateful day. Fire. That was all she remembered as she burned the very ground she stood on. Half terrified she shook her head whilst grunting in a most feminine way. "I should get going..." she muttered to herself aloud.
With a weak smile to try and cheer herself up, she lifted into the air rather gracefully completely hovering over the small streams of water that cut her off from dry land. This was only small and no more than a meter in length and a few inches deep. Terra wasn't wearing the most suitable footwear for a hike in the mountains. However she didn't have the luxury of a footwear department store in this world. Well, not one that wouldn't clash with her pink outfit. So she set off taking a few more steps toward the path. Slowly she came to a halt. She sensed something. It was faint but something she could pick up on and she looked back to the Capital city in the background. "Maybe one day..." she murmured rather glumly.
