Xaldin paced. It wasn't all that often that he was bored but - well, sometimes such things happened.
It was a nice world. Very... pleasant. Also very boring. His current task - mere observation - would have suited someone far more studious than his own self. He'd taken a certain - as Nobodies defined it anyway - pleasure in corrupting the Beast, but merely watching? It was agonizing. Mainly because these people here led such incredibly dull lives. There was only so much watching of libraries and theater one could take after all.
He happened to wander into the courtyard one day. Yes, completely out of the blue. Maybe for a spot of training. Perhaps.
He certainly wouldn't be adverse to the notion, after all.

From the shadows of the courtyard, Iatros spied on the organization member, Xaldin. he had been asked by an anonymous contractor to fight him, not kill him. He didn't get it, but he was being paid lots of money for it so he didn't need to get it. "Well let’s get show on the road." Iatros said to himself, before high jumping 40 feet into the air above Xaldin with his sword over his head, ready to strike. As he came down he did a front flip, adding momentum to the swing of the sword. When he was right above Xaldin, he fished the flip and swung his sword down using his arcane strength, adding even more force to the strike. A gust and a whistle came from the sword an as it cut through the air itself.

Xaldin gazed up - it really was an impressive leap all things considered, but Xaldin was a fairly proficient jumper himself. A dragoon and an air mage meant that he could more than double such heights and would - if he could be bothered. Nothing about the opposition was particularly spectacular and as observation jobs strictly forbade him from killing anything he wouldn't get to really enjoy this fight.
Ah well. He'd make the most of this opportunity.
Oh a flip. That was a nice touch. Give the kid ten for style points at least.
He summoned a lance before summoning his protective winds. Let's see just how powerful this blow is-
================
Abilities used:
Aero equip: 1/2 damage sustained, weak wind damage to everything within two feet of him.

Even with the harsh winds that the nobody created, Iatros strike had a lot of force behind it. There was a loud clang as Iatros’ sword his Xaldin's spear causing a strong vibration that almost made Xaldin drop his spear. Iatros wasn't about to give him time to recover though. He leapt and flipped over Xaldin, flipping his sword into a reverse grip. He landed right behind Xaldin and fluidly trusted his sword backward in an attempt to stab the nobody in the back.

Xaldin winced as the vibrations traveled from his hand to the rest of his body. He was considered strong, even amongst an Organization that had nearly conquered the multiverse, but that blow had been enough to cleave him from head to toe if he'd left it unblocked. He turned, expecting his opponent to fall back...
Ah. Someone unfamiliar with Aero.
Aero was a simple device - it rendered the winds right next to Xaldin effectively unbreachable. A sword of impossibly powerful shiled that was both lightweight and all-encompassing. Oh there was damage that was transferred, but such things as 'vulnerable areas' ceased to exist. Oh, there was the odd ability - as well as keyblade - that were all too effective against these raging winds, but mundane swordplay would not be effective enough. And worse, anyone close by him would be whipped by those fierce winds - small, but still not insignificant damage.
"It is customary," the lancer said without much interest as he intercepted the blow - both without seeing it, and with incredible speed - "for warriors to exchange names, is it not?"
=======================
Abilities used: -Aero is still effective for another two posts. -Weak ability that allows for 360 degree vision -Strong ability that permits incredible attack speed

Iatros stood behind Xalden, His eyes wide with shock at how easily his attack was intercepted. He quickly composed himself though, and a smirk found its way to his face. "Orion, Iatros Orion." He then spun his sword, Mage's Edge, back into regular grip. He spun around a sung his sword in a horizontal slash that was aimed for Xaldin's neck. He put as much behind the blow as he could, drawing more power from the rune on his shoulder that gave him strength than he ever had before. Even with the wind spell, this attack would to a lot of damage...he hoped.
{Ok, storted to play out my character strengthening ability getting stronger. Also the reason The winds arn't damaging Iatros is becasue he's not that close. His swords almost 4 feet can be used to attack while staying out of range of aero.}

"Hmm." Xaldin had sensed a sort of... hesitation. He'd assumed (always a bad thing in his experience) that he was facing a native. Now that he thought about it, the acrobatics, the lack of introduction, the silent surprise at his skills - all of that indicated that he was either a foreigner or someone not actually from this world.
Interesting. This world was very newly opened to the Darkness despite the readily available magic.
Xaldin watched lazily as the blow came before he simply hopped back - nearly forty feet - all the way to the entrance of the courtyard. "I am Xaldin."

Iatros smiled and said "Nice to meet you Xaldin." He then lifted his empty hand and fired a head-sized blue bolt of magic at the nobody. He quickly followed the path of the bolt. When he was just in front of Xaldin, he trusted his sword forward, aiming to impale him in the gut. His arcane strength was now seemed to be steadily increasing past its former limits, making the attack even more powerful than the last one. Even with the greater strength, Iatros knew he would probably wouldn't even hit the nobody.

Xaldin blurred. It wasn't a move he used often (except against one keyblade brat) but something was... off about his opponent. Aero had died down but whatever magic his opponent was using was not abating. If anything it was actually getting stronger.
Not for the first time, Xaldin wished that his perceptions included a diagnostic on all his opponent's abilities. It'd make life boring yes, but also that much more convenient. He'd died once already and even if his new existence could be surprisingly difficult, he was absolutely certain he wanted it to continue.
Zooming around both attacks he found himself on his opponent's backside and aimed a rather languid attack. He was fairly certain it'd be blocked - the point of it was, however, to measure his opponent's physical strength which, if he had judged right, seemed to be on the increase.
A berserker, perhaps?
=====================
Speed ability: extreme speed for 10 feet (strong class speed but it can be angled).
