_FIDELIS_____
The seven programs looked from the hole in the rubble to Fidelis uneasily. "Um..."
crRRrrkRKK!
Crashing and crumbling, the pile of rubble collapsed back down around the short-lived tunnel. "...yeah."
The yellow program put a friendly hand on Fidelis' shoulder. "Uh, maybe blasting holes in the friendly programs isn't the best way to save 'em."
The green program wasn't paying much attention to that, though. He was watching the Data Sphere. Upon seeing it land hard on the ground, he frowned. Getting to his feet, and completely ignoring the few calls for help that could be heard from the rubble, he walked over towards Joshua and the Sphere.
Nodding affirmatively, the yellow program and his friends started for the rubble. "Make sure you don't get buried under the up top stuff, okay?" shouted a blue one as warning to the rest. He had a point; the rubble made up an almost trash heap semblance that went up a good floor or two. Start to make a hole to big below, and all the trash up top would come crashing down.
_JOSHUA_____
The green program walked up on Joshua's left. He wore a kinda puzzling face. Very focused, this one. Stopping just short of Joshua, the program looked down.
And then swung his foot at Joshua. Hard. It landed with an oomf! on Joshua's left side, and definitely left a bruise. This program wasn't messing around, or it didn't know it's own strength.
The Data Sphere, it seems, isn't gone. It's shrunk tremendously, now no bigger than a foot, and left quite the crater where it landed, but it was still there. Tough little bugger.
Wordlessly, the green program brought his right leg back again, in preparation for another kick.
[Defend, I say, defend! Fidelis, you might want to take notice of your ally...
And don't forget that you can always call out to the three in the computer room for help!]

Joshua felt the kick land and fell on his back. He spun around and scurried about five feet away, totally away from the second kick. He got back to his feet as quickly as he could. Joshua wasn't even focused on asking questions. It was clear from the look on the program's face that he wasn't very happy about what Joshua had down. Joshua needed to be safe first, and ask questions later. Joshua began a serpentine attack. He first jumped left a foot, then right a foot, then left then right. He ended the attack with a jump about five feet into the air.
Joshua came back down on his opponent with a claw to his left arm and then a spin to his left followed by a hard roundhouse kick to the ribs, capable of cracking a few bones.

Fidelis looked back and saw the green program slam his foot into Joshua, apparently a second time and then Joshua retaliating with a serpentine strategy and a roundhouse kick. Turning to the yellow program, he said, "See what you and your friends can do help the programs trapped in the rubble. I need to help my fellow User."
Sheathing his swords again, he drew Wingblade, nocked an arrow and cried out, "Shining Arrows!" and all 25 arrows in his quiver shot out as projectiles of Light and shot toward the green program, and Fidelis hoped it hit. Even if it didn't, the arrows would all reappear in his quiver.

[Works just fine! Alrighty, let's delete the OOC posts and get back in motion!]Sadly, it seems serpentine is something already in the opposing program's database. Or it's predictable. The green program dashed forward, and at the sight of a slight twisting motion for the roundhouse kick, turned around. Joshua's claw flew past the program, thought it did get too close for comfort. The program readjusted his weight to lean to the left as the roundhouse kick came about, and brought his hands out to meet the foot as it flew forward. Nngh! The guy couldn't just grab it, it seems. Instead, he used his grip on the foot to force himself around it, thereby receiving almost no damage. And then Fidelis' arrows got him in the back. The 25 five blasts of Light thudded softly as they came to hit their target. ...and do absolutely nothing. In a quick spurt of Light, the blasts disappeared, leaving the program unharmed. Though he did have a very pained frown. Gritting his teeth, the program swiftly did a hop backwards to land an even distance away from both of the Users. "Authority: Antivirus Gamma." He grunted. The green program promptly pulled a small circular ring with a handle inside it out. As the area was temporarily illuminated with the energy sword's appearance, which was nothing short of flashy, Gamma said, "Force End Function commencing."

Joshua took the advantage of Fidelis's distraction to do a backspring back to him. "Thanks," he muttered. He lifted up his communicator and yelled into it. "Tron! We've got a problem. One of your antiviruses have gone rogue. Assuming it's one of yours at all. It says it's beginning a 'Force Ending Funtion' if that means anything. The name's Antivirus Gamma. Neither mine or Fidelis's attacks did much of anything. We got a weak point here?" If Gamma was to make any movements toward Joshua and Fidelis, Joshua would just back away to finish his message.
He then turned to Fidelis and back to Gamma. "You were with him the longest. Do you have any idea?"

"Hold on just a minute," Tron assured the Users in the machine. "We're working on getting something that'll help. In the mean time, I'll try and look into the Antivirus situation some more.... before, they were just ignoring the problem! Why help? Why now?" he thought out loud.
"Anyway," he continued, "Force End Function. That means he's trying to, well... forcibly end your function. Shut you down. There's not really a nice way to say it, is there?" he murmured. "Just hold out in the mean time. It shouldn't take too long, okay?"
[C'mon Fidelis! Where'd you poof off to?]

((Sorry, long weekend X( ))
Fidelis unsheathed Goldtalon and Silverplume again and said, "I actually have no idea what weaknesses this antivirus has, Joshua. I was sure my Shining Arrows would do something!" He then spun his twin blades, waiting for the oppurtune moment.

"Great," Joshua said sarcastically to Tron and Fidelis, "Don't attack him. Stall him and only defend and counter, got it?" The command was hushed as Joshua leaned his head toward Fidelis to tell him this. Joshua's claws moved in and out restlessly, waiting to tear this antivirus apart and send him to the "recycling bin."
((Omg, that was so short. The library must kill my muse....))

[No worries; you got the point across, right? And nice to see you're back Fidelis!]
Gamma started moving to the left, slowly, and he kept his eyes on his opponents. His hand moved up and down, in quick bursts, which kept the loose blade swirling up and down around his hand. His face didn't give away any emotion, unless you counted focused as one.
Someone with a keen eye might might've he was inching his way towards the Data Sphere, though.
Speaking of which, the Data Sphere seemed to be getting back on it's feet, so to speak. It's faint light was growing by the second, and the text encompassing it was getting back to top speed. Whurmp-- looks like it doesn't have enough energy to get back into the air just yet, though. But it's definitely trying.
The group of teenagers that Fidelis had allowed to help were going through the rubble slowly, but meticulously. Looks like they're getting everyone out safely, as opposed to quickly.

"Fidelis, Joshua, the antivirus program you're facing has special protection on him! You can't harm him from the back!" Tron shouted.
[Final Warning! Given the nature of the Quest, where everyone is divided up, you two need to post! This team will drop out from the Quest unless one of you two post by June 8th, next Monday!]

Given his opponents were making no moves against him, or moving at all, Gamma charged forward and proceeded to hack and slash at his opponents in a mad dash involving lots of spinning. Without defending themselves, the opposing Fidelis and Joshua didn't last more than a few moments. [ Congrats, you're dead! And I mean that, sadly.
This thread is now locked until such a time as Questers jump in.
Fidelis Topaz, Renewed Gemini, you've failed. No bonus munny, no prize, no regrets. You both have my most sincerest of apologies, but we've gotta keep moving.
Buh-bye! ]

(OOC: Enter TEAM 3: Dee Dee and Adena) As their digital forms materialized, it was not the typical clean, radiant metropolis of Space Paranoids that greeted the two Users. Rather, they emerged in what looked like a disaster area. All around them was debris, rubble, and destruction. Something had hit this place, and hit it HARD. "Okay Users, be careful here!" Tron's voice announced, seeming to come from the very sky overhead (or the sparkling dark overhead that amounted to a sky). "You're close to the coordinates where we lost Team 1 earlier. I'm not entirely certain of what happened, but it looks as though one of the anti-virus programs has gone rogue. Be careful."With a faint sparkle of light, a wrist-watch like device appeared on Dee and Adena's left arm. "This communication subroutine will let you talk to each other, the other team, or anyone currently in the lab, but you can only use one comm channel at a time. It's made of smart-code, though, so you just have to say the person's name to switch channels.""Be on the lookout for Data Spheres. I originally detected three of them in this sector, and most of the damage here is due to their activities. There may also be programs trapped in the rubble -- if you can, please try to help them!"▪ Locate the nearest Data Sphere ▪ If possible, help trapped or damaged programs

Adena nodded at the program's orders, and then saw one problem in the plan: "Um, Tron? Will my paint abilities still work in here? Or do I need to fight without them?"

"I'm afraid," Dee noted - also having had a query, "that I know your name," he pointed towards Tron, "and her name," his glove hand gestured towards Adena, but I do not know the names of the others. This communication device will not be particularly helpful without more names."
Briefly, he wondered what these 'others' could possibly do to help but, ah, no doubt Tron could explain that too.
And, despite the wholesale destruction, this did look like an interesting world.
His gaze flitted towards the ruined buildings and the deepening shadows-
NotTraverseNotTraverseNotTraverse
-and he thought he might have spotted a rock shiver. But upon more sustained examination, it did not budge, so it must have been his imagination.

(OOC: Rocket should be back from vacation soon, so don't be terribly surprised when I step out. Just FYI.)
"Ah, yes, I forgot to mention that." Tron's disembodied voice stated apologetically. "Sorry, there's so much going on that I'm having trouble keeping it all straight."
"The other team is two Users named Shinji and Emma. They're busy fighting Heartless right now, so it might not be best to bother them. Other than them, Leon -- one of Radiant Garden's chief committee members -- will be working things from the User world. He seems to have stepped away from the computer terminal for the moment, though I expect he'll return soon."
"And regarding your powers, Adena... hold on a moment while I analyze your data." There was a moment of silence, then blue rings of light formed around the young artist, apparently scanning her. They vanished in a small flash. "Oh, wow! Very interesting..."
"It looks like your ability to paint things into reality in the User world has given you truly remarkable powers here! From what my scan shows, it looks as though you'll be able to freely create virtually any kind of data with your paintbrush, so long as you have an idea what you're doing." He paused, thinking. "Let me put it this way. In the real world, your paint can become reality... but here it's even more powerful, letting your thoughts become raw data that can write all sorts of basic programs and even repair damaged data! It's a direct user interface!"
"Your power might just be key to helping us deal with the Data Spheres before the system stability gets any worse."
(OOC: Simply put, in Tron's world Adena can be "ub3r l33t h4x0rz!" Be on the lookout for specific Reaction Commands for her "data painting" ability!)
