Adena finished giving her respect for the dead quickly, and stood up. No sense in using up too much time.
Looking around, she saw the programs climbing out of the rubble that Dee had entered, and realized that he was still in there!
Focusing her power, she brought into existance another floating platform, like the previous ones, but with a laser rifle on the front, and a hook and winch on the side.
Hopping on, she flew over the hole where Dee was, and lowered the hook. "Grab the hook Dee! I'll get you outta there!"
She'd make sure that her partner didn't die as well.

Though hesitant, the green program took the equip in hand and returned to her friend's side. It was an awkward grip, that much was obvious as the young woman knelt to pick the other up, but she looked like she could make it. It was then that Adena's hook fell down to the area. Looking from the risky hold on both the equip and friend, to the far more stable hook, the green program turned to look at Dei with a question already on her lips. "C-couldn't you use the executable (equip) while we use the hook?" [ 1 TURN - RUN FOR THE HILLSSSSSSS! ]

Dee looked at the hook in the same befuddled amazement that anyone who had been subject to Lady Luck's more whimsical caprices and were unwilling to believe that good fortune came without a hefty price tag -
And then remembered the painter. Ah. Good call.
"Yes - now GO!"
Intending to take the equip, Dee would jump up and use Sonic Thrust, trusting that Adena would be able to get the rest of the programs to safety. If not, he'd form a Shell Aura behind himself - hopefully it'd act as a something cushion when bumping the programs out along with him.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Action recap:
Will (?) use High Jump I, followed by Sonic Thrust and (maybe) shell aura - depending on how things fall out, of course.
1/2 uses of Ars Arcanum 10/10 uses of fire I 3(2?)/3 uses of shell aura (+ dream shield) 4(3?)/4 uses of sonic thrust

Adena felt someone tugging the hook, and figured that was the signal to reel it in.
Turning the winch, the hook rose, and Adena saw... programs!?
Ah, Dee must be sending them out first. He seemed like a good person then. She moved the flying platform away from the hole, and let the programs off softly.
Now all she could do was wait patiently to see what Dee was trying...

Holding onto the hook for dear life, the green program held her faintly glowing friend as Adena's construction.
And then the rubble collapsed on itself-- only very nearly missing Dee in his leap for safety.
[ Yes, they had given back the equip. xD
Okay, one round rest period to send your rescuees off to a safe place, and then we resume the main event. :3 ]

[ooc: w00t!
...wait. Was Dee forced to use any of his expendable equips then?]
Heart-hammering slightly less than it would have been had he actually cared about his own survival, Dee took in the scene with a thankfulness he wouldn't admit could come from a tool: they were safe. They were all safe.
No... he wasn't crying. Really.
"Let's..." he croaked to Adena, "bring them to a safe place."

Adena nodded at Dee's statement. "Yeah, okay."
She landed the platform near the programs and let them climb on.
Looking at them, she said, "So where do you guys want to go? Anywhere specific?"

[ @dei: ...I'll let this one slide. ;D
SO BACK ON TRACK! ]........ . . . .. . .*Brrzt*
Hm?
"ATTENTION! ATTENTION! This is the system administrator speaking!"
It was Tron-- speaking to the entire system. A loudspeaker kind of setup seemed to be in effect here, with the normally calm security program's nervous voice booming across the city.
"All domestic programs, be advised-- Heartless are currently entering the city at an exponential rate. If unable to locate a terminal to exit the city, stay in reasonable proximity to the security program nearest you."
All programs within reasonable proximity immediately looked to Dee and Adena.
"Statistical programs of all kind, report to the Central Computer Core for needed analytical expertise of incoming data." Tron continued, his tone starting to catch up with the urgency behind the information. Going on, at an ever faster rate, "Security programs, please see to protecting all functioning terminals and escorting as many domestic programs without undue risk to the terminals.
"In addition, all inbound users-- please see to the deresolution of the Data Spheres immediately.
"..."
Breathing, of a sort, could be heard for a moment. Hesitant, though, as the words came to him--
"Space Paranoids is in jeopardy. And... I'm sorry that I was unable to foresee these events as system administrator. Time is short, and we'll need to act fast to reverse the danger.
"Proper compensation will be provided for loss of homes--"
Such began the political ramble. Nothing of particular note here, as far as Dee and Adena were concerned.
The programs that had looked to Dee and Adena had noticed by now that they were users-- not security programs. While the three Dee and Adena had just rescued from the rubble looked ready to stand by their side, the other programs immediately moved on, hurrying as fast as their legs could take them. Programs could be seen directing the domestics towards designated locations-- probably the security programs Tron mentioned.
A faint rumble in the distance, like before, shuddered through the city. The Data Spheres, most likely. Destroying more buildings, if the mess around here was anything to go by.
Looks like Tron wants the users to focus on the Data Spheres though-- leave the grunt work to the security programs.
Speaking of Tron, sounds like he's about wrapping up...
"..and rest assured that normal function will resume as soon as the situation is resolved. User assistance from Radiant Garden is present, and with it, the complications will be reversed in no time at all.
"Again, all domestic programs are to report to the I/O Tower..."
Instructions, done and done. Maybe even some mass hysteria averted, with the somewhat orderly evacuation. Go Tron!
But on the other hand, it looks like major danger time. Heartless are starting to get into the city, Data Spheres are getting anxious, and the whole city's going to be out on the streets.
And Space Paranoids is in serious danger. See to the immediate deresolution of the Data Spheres.

Dee listened carefully to the instructions. Though this world was still unfamiliar, he was starting to get an idea of its sheer size: the number of survivors, for one, was enormous. Clearly this necessitated some strategic thinking. Strategic thinking, unfortunately, tended to fray at the tenuous bonds of his sanity – he could no longer operate on the principle of the ‘greater’ good, focusing instead on individuals within earshot and eyesight.
Not rational, no. But it was what he had become. And right now, he was a protector, not a user.
“Go,” Dee said softly. “Where we go, you three should not follow.”
He didn’t turn to Adena, but his next question was clearly intended for her. “Can you give them painted protectors? We should get going quickly.”

Adena bit her lip at Dei's request, frowing along with it.
"Ah... maybe? Normally, I can't make more then one construct at once, but I'm supposed to be more powerful here so, I'll try my best!"
She began to move her brush around, and three being came into view.
They were all identical, a round hub with rockets on the bottom, and a laser gun attached to an arm off the left and right sides.
"Follow those three, and get them to the I/O tower."
As the protectors escorted the programs off, Adena continued, adding a second and third cannon onto the ship.
"Dee, you man the forward gun, while I steer. When we approach, the other guns will focus on your target, I think... I'll be driving this. Let's go!"
The skiff began moving as the girl took the wheel.
[Is that too much power Rocket?]

I WAS WAITING ON THE PEOPLE IN RADIANT GARDEN TO POST IN THIS! BUT BILBY, THE LAZY BUM, HAS DONE A WHOLE LOTTA NOTHING IN IT! GWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAARGGGHHHHhhhhahgrthgsrdthzbgrhnjyrsnjh......
Let's just plow ahead then, eh? ]BREET!
A faint green glow started to come from the wrist devices Dee and Adena had on. A quick glance at it showed, thank you Tron!, a map!
It looks like those statistical programs were being put to good use!
The map shows a small portion of the surrounding area-- a metropolis type of place by the looks of it.
Three dots seem to be the most commanding parts of the map. Two are too far away for the map to give real directions to, but one of them looks to be two blocks away.
The Data Spheres, with any luck!
...but, what a sec. The map's not updating. [ OKAY SO! You now have a map. Every so often, it'll update with the Data Sphere's last known location. Hurry, or the location you have will be useless! ]

Dee looked at the map and stared off into the direction where the glowing dot indicated and - yes, he could see the vague shimmery outline of something that was probably the fabled 'data sphere'. It wasn't far at all, a good running start and they'd be there with time to spare.
...looked like there were two more than that one though. Problematic, that.
Still, the other two were somewhat dispersed - as, if their position wasn't properly fixed or triangulated. They needed to do this extra-snappy and head off towards the other dots, if these maps were any indication they were rather far off. And a countdown had already begun in Dee's head - that episode in the crumbling building had reinforced the wretched sense that this world was ending.
"Let's get going Adena," Dee said softly as he manned the guns of their skiff.
It was time to put a stop to a premature finale.

Music!Adena grinned slightly as she took control of the ship, and began steering it towards the Data Sphere. She had the skiff moving slowly at first, before really gunning the "engine" as it could be called. The skiff was really moving now, and quickly approaching the giant Sphere. As they began closing the gap, Adena shouted to Dee, "Dee, get ready to open fire on this thing! I'll try to stop us close enough to hit it, and still get away!"
