Edit: Yo, is it cool if I start with the Rp Rules and stuff? I thought it'd be nice to do those and make them easier to follow because... the first time I read them, I was like "wtf?".

-nod- Sure, though I was hoping for more of the Character Creation aspect since that is by far more complex. I hope everyone remembers to have their masterpieces easily edited in future, in case things do again change. Or, as I like to hope, improve.

Need clarification on a few things.
First, I noticed a 'Special Abilities' section on the character template, but I can't find any info about it. This is listed separately from Abilities.
Secondly, the RP Rules & Info thread says that, quote:
I'm assuming that the provision at the bottom allows for your basic laser gun a la Stitch, but does it also permit energy-based melee weapons like beam swords? Think light sabers without the trademark.
Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this.
Also, has there been a decision on when these contest entries will be due?

Actually, I would say yes. Meele based weapon shouldn't be restricted. Upsilon's character had a beam sword weapon and it was approved, so yeah.
I also want to know the due date.
(No idea about the Special Abilities)

Special abilities are abilities given to you in quests.
Also, my newest character, Drek, had dual energy swords which are fine. What wouldn't be fine if I made a 5 feet long energy sword like one of his abilities creates. That would be in the ability section.

End of April was mentioned I think, but I wanted to know if it was official or not. Oh, and I've officially drafted kid Tidus as Hades' guinea pig for the guide. * evil grin* Layout preview!  The logo in the upper left corner will link straight to the forums. The open area in the middle will be for displaying screen shots and whatnot, and control buttons will be set up on the sides and bottom. |

ANSWERS
The Special Abilities section is for Keyblade Wielder and Dual Wield Keyblade if a character has earned them. If a Quest rewards some sort of unique power or item then that goes there as well.
Energy weapons includes melee stuff like beam swords, but they would not have all-cutting properties as 'real' energy would. More like the beam swords in Super Smash Bros. that just hit you like anything else would.

One more thing I need clarified for the guide:
I know this is intended for Abilities, but does it also apply to Summons/Minions and certain Equips? For instance, would I get the discount on purchasing Cerberus as a Summon for Hades, or Fairy Dust (flight) as an Equip for Magus? And would the discount also apply if, say, Yami needed to purchase the Dual Wield Keyblade upgrade for Sora?
It's just worded a bit ambiguously, so I figured I'd ask so I wouldn't jump to a wrong conclusion.
