Halloween Nightmare

Lydia, who was about to question him further, gasped and pointed suddenly, grinning. "Sadao! That's Jack Skellington!" she exclaimed, already starting to follow the tall, wispy fellow made of bone. Curdling was disappointed that the "target" she'd pointed at had no eyes to peck out..

"Jack!" she called, skipping after him with a smile, now coming up behind him to give him a tap. "I'm visiting! you could at least say hi and meet my new friend, you know." she teased him from behind, hoping Jack wasn't so wrapped up in his planning that he ignored her. The raven swooped down as if to peck on Jack's head to get his attention.

Jack turned around to see Lydia. "Give me just one moment please." He turned back to the monsters, and then sent them on their way. Jack then turned to Lydia. "Why hello Jydia. Its so nice to see you again. What brings you back to Halloween Town? It's the spectacle of the holiday isn't it.?" Jack just then noticed Sadao. "Oh, and it seems you brought a friend along. Hello kind sir, my name is Jack Skellington, The Pumpkin King. I am the Master of Terror around this town." Jack put his bony hand out for a handshake with Sadao.

Sadao felt uneasy about Jack, though he didn't know why. "The name is Sadao Hiroshi. Good to meet you Jack Skellington." Sadao shook his hand, but almost immediately fell to the ground, clutching his head. Images started pouring into his head, as a memory flash began.
(MEMORY FLASH!)
In Dr. Finkelstein's lab, three kids came rushing in, and stole the bottle of green Liquid. They left immediately, and headed for a strange looking house. Inside, a moving stitched up bag took the bottle and laughed.
(Memory flash over )
Sadao slowly got back up to his feet, having one hand on his head. "Anyone know of a moving bag creature, or three little kids in the area?"

"Ah! Sadao!" she exclaimed, looking to Jack before dropping down by his side. He worried her when he did this. "He does this when he remembers stuff, Jack." Lydia informed the Pumpkin King in a worried tone. She could only imagine what he was remembering. If she remembered anything, would she have the pain too?

Well, that wasn't important right now.

As the memory passed out of his mind, the teenage girl helped him get up and steadied him, to keep him from falling just in case. At least he seemed okay now. "How's your head--" Her question interrupted her, and immediately she knew who he was talking about. "Oogie Boogie! Lock, Shock, and Barrel!"

When Sadao dropped to the ground, Jack didn't know what to do, until Lydia explained the situation. "He drops to the ground in pain whenever he remembers something? Well, that's something you don't see every day." Sadao had gotten up and gave a description of Oogie and his minions. "Lock, Shock, Barrel, and Oogie? What are they up to this time. The last time anyone's heard about them was a couple years ago when an experiment of Dr. Finkelstein's was stolen. I believe it was some kind of liquid that increased strength. Of course, the container was completely sealed, and it was never known whether it got to Oogie or not. Why'd you mention them all of a sudden Sadao?"

Sadao's eyes opened wide and rushed off, headed in the direction of Oogie's mansion. Something in his head told him to go that way, so he did. "Oogie! I need to get to him immediately!" At the remains of Oogie's mansion, a white creature was seen in the distance.

Lydia giggled. "Sorry Jack. I'll have to talk to you later, Sadao's running off again." she smiled, then hurriedly rushed after him. "You know where Oogie lives but you've never been here before?" she asked, catching up with him. She couldn't say she wanted to see Oogie, but if it was what he needed, she'd go. Oogie was just hard to deal with. Him and his gambling problem. He was not a very pleasant Halloween Town creature...

"What do you need him for?" she asked after a moment, letting curdling back into the sky to follow them overhead, as if watching out for them so he could warn them. He may be bad tempered, but usually he at least looked after Lydia. He did actually like Lydia, even if that meant he had to tolerate her having friends with her. He still wanted their eyes though...

Sadao stopped when Lydia caught up. He looked down at where Oogie's house was. "Something told me that there was danger in this direction. I remember the bottle, the three children taking it. Oogie got his hands on it, but Jack said that it was never proven. What if Oogie stashed it somewhere where no one could ever find it? If what is in that bottle is real, then if Oogie gets his hands on the contents, Halloween Town will be in serious trouble. If fighting breaks out, find somewhere safe to hide. It would kill me if something were to happen to you because of this."

"Oh, Sadao.." she said with an affectionate smile, shaking her head. "I don't run and hide..I'll help fight. I'm not leaving you. We're both in this together." And Lydia meant it. She had her dartblower and Curdling. Besides, she'd fought some before.

Suddenly a question entered the eyes of the sweet young lady. She tilted her head a little. "If Oogie knows where it is...why hasn't the large sack of bugs used it already?"

That point didn't make sense to her. She had to admit, she didn't know too much about him, but what she did know made her think that once he had it stolen that he'd have used it and gone on a rampage of some sort. Why would he just stash it away?

Maybe he had some sort of...plan?

Sadao walked up to Oogie's mansion, and headed inside. "Don't be stubborn. If there is fighting, then you should let me handle it while you find a safe place to hide. As for him not using it yet; that is a simple matter. If he used it soon after they stopped investigating, he would have failed in the end because they would still be prepared. He'll probably use it soon, though, because everyone is too busy with Halloween to care. Which is why I am here to finish him off before he becomes a threat." Sadao continued walking through the building, looking for what he thought would be Oogie.

"I'm not being stubborn...I'm just not leaving at the first sign of trouble. That's no way to be a good travel buddy or friend. I mean, if I just ran and hid, Oogie could come out with who knows what and squeeze you so right your innards pop out your belly button. I don't want that to happen!" she said, eyes wide as if seeing what she was talking about. "I dunno if you could live if that happened...and I dunno if I could save you. Unless I had the Doctor's scalpel so I could put them all back...." Her fingers wriggles infront of herself...but then she regained her mind and chuckled. "But I'm sure that won't happen." she grinned, looking around.

"Oogies probably gambling in one of these rooms.."

"Fine; suit yourself." Sadao kept walkingg through the mansion until he came to a green door. Sadao went through it, and stepped into a giant roulette room. Inside, a giant bag of bugs was up on a ledge, laughing. Sadao dropped to the floor in pain.


Lock Shock and Barrel took their moving tub to Oogie who swallowed the bottle whole. Sadao and a mystery man busted into the manor andd fought Oogie, defeating him. A portal then opened, sucking the two people in. Other memories appeared in his head, giving him the whole story of his previous trip to HaloweenTown.

Sadao then stood up, in anger. "I remember now! We stumbled on this place a while back. The doctor was working on a special formula in hopes of making the creatures here scarier than normal for Halloween. Unfortunately, the effects did not work as planned. You had those three evil little children steal it in hopes of using it against Jack. I came here to stop you, though it was already too late. A portal oopened and sucked us in before we could finish you off!" Sadao summoned his ice sword ready to attack, but by the time he did Oogie had thrown dice at him that were ready to explode. Sadao, unfortunately, had no time to act and was going to get hit with the explosion.

"Sadao!"

Lydia called his name in alarm as she saw the dice come at hi, She knew all too well what they did. Good thing she'd followed him in and refused to go away at the first sign of fighting! He needed her, at least right now. Her reflexes were quick. In the next moment she was running at him, tackling him out of the way from the dice just in time. The blast could be felt moments later from where they had collided on a back wall.

"Are you okay?" she asked, then seemed to be confused. "I thought you said he hadn't used the potion yet?"

"I......I remember. he should not have used it because it would not make sense. Of course, taking it right when he got it would be the only way to hide it. He must've just waited until he could attack and win. I got to stop him." Sadao pushed himself away from Lydia, charging at Oogie in anger. Oogie's soldiers shot at Sadao, though, wounding him, and stopping his charge. Blood could be seen running down Sadao's body, though he was still standing, staring at Oogie.

"What is the matter with you?!" Lydia hissed into his ear, again scrambling for him and now pulling him away, looking for a safe place. Not finding one too secure, she just drug him around, accessing his wounds. She frowned. "What kind of plan was that? Don't die."

Reaching down, the female brought up a peculiar tube and several darts. Loading it with one hand, she eyed the soldiers and took aim, blowing her poisoned darts at them nearly expertly. As if in unison, Curdling started his barrage of pecks and clawing upon the enemies, hopefully distracting everyone away from Sadao and Lydia.
