Mystery Underdrome Quest

ATTENTION PEOPLE OF FINAL MIX. MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PLEASE?

Hi! Hi! Hello! Hey there!

Rocket here, totally gonna kick your butt with the Quest of the century!

This is a sign up sheet for a mystery Quest, taking place in the infamous Underdrome.

It is hard.

Super hard.

Uber super duper hard.

Keyblade level of difficulty.

It will be one of the hardest Quests you ever face.

The prize will be appropriately huge.

_{And your butt will be kicked.}

Enough hype! XD Let's talk details!

• This quest has a difficulty of 10. This means it will be insanely difficult.
  
• This will be an Underdrome Cup. A series of battles, nothing more. No plot action here.
  
• You will not know your opponents in advance.
  
• This will be an endurance cup. The Questing team will have to go from the first to the last battle without all dying to keep any and all rewards. Rewards will be earned following each battle, and can be used in later battles.
  
• The Questing team will consist of five characters. Only three characters will be actively fighting at a time. Fighting characters can "tap out", or swap with a character on the bench, purposefully or by dying.
  
• Items are allowed. Highly recommended.
  
• Planning with allies highly recommended.
  
• You must sign up as a team.
  
• If your character dies, but the team wins, the dead character will be brought back at half health for the next match.
  
• There will be a one round resting period between each battle. During this time, you will be allowed to use items and update your character to your current profile. (This means that, once a battle is begun, changes to your profile [more items, new abilities, etc. ] will not be brought into effect until a resting round.)
  
• Three Quest Masters will be participating in this. Draconas, Rolt, and myself. Attempting to bribe/beg/pump us or anyone with knowledge regarding this Quest for info will be met with impassive faces and maybe noogies.

Will there be shopping in between fights? Like, say, we decide that HOLY CRAP THIS MAY REALLY MEAN DEATH LOOKIE KING TIM WHO HAS 4000+ WORTH OF GEAR JUST DIED, and decide to max out our item slots and buy potions galore - can we do that? :E

I think the answer's yes, but I just wanna make sure.

Also, summons and minions. What's the official ruling on those ones? And if we can use them, what if they die? Do they also come back at half health or will it be death-death-death once they die?

And limited-use abilities/equips? What about those? Refresh or is this gonna be one of those - HA, YEAHRITE answers?

Well I'm in on this with my character Iatros. He'll probably die but hopefull his sacrifise won'tbe in vane.

Summons and minions will be following typical rules. If defeated, they will recieve no special boost from the quest. I hear there are items for that sort of thing though...

You will have the opportunity to buy stuff-- abilities, items, etc-- for your character before each battle.

So, like, now. Go buy stuff. Quickly.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA and indeed, HA! Limited use abilities will be restored to half following a battle. If at half or above, nothing will be done. If the use counter is odd, it will be rounded up. If it's a single use ability... well, can't help you there.

I AM GOING TO VERY SNEAKILY SUGGEST THAT ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO STOCK UP ON GOODIES SHOULD MAKE A QUICK SPEED RP AND GET STUFF AT HALF PRICE THROUGH DISCOUNT.

Alright, we have our team!

To allow for preparations and to let you all finish your RP Week stuff to get this all in ready shape, you have ONE WEEK until this Quest begins. You will be PM'd and there will be a post on the matter here when the time comes.

More rules and information regarding the Quest will pop up as the week goes on. Bookmark this thread and check back here regularly! ^^

PS Questions regarding the way this Quest will operate are more than welcome. But please stop asking who you'll be fighting. xD;

If we get our shop threads up before the week is out but don't manage to have them completed for whatever reason - do we get an extension? Or will we start as is?

Your week "ends" when the Quest begins, sometime on the 28th. Shop threads in progress-- where a Shopkeeper has replied, but the transaction hasn't taken place yet, will allow for a 24 hour extension. Shop threads where the Shopkeeper has not replied but the Quest has started will be considered "last minute" and changes by it will not be noted.

FYI We'll be making a thread in Spam that shows what we currently view each character's profile as being. This way, we all know what we're working with here. ^^

As of late last night, there will be a new two day posting rule.

Sorry Angy. ^^;

This means that the QM in charge of the Quest for that battle will post at least once every two days, regardless of what your all's situation is.

This means that every 48 hours, the reigning QM will post. Regardless of whether or not you all have posted. If you didn't post during that time, it's assumed that they stood still (or somesuch) following the actions made in their previous post.

If you're going to have trouble with activity, I recommend dropping out now or designating one of the Bench team members as having the right to "tap in" without you notifying in advance in a post or PM.

Can we have pre-formed strategies in case one of us has to leave due to RL? i.e. 'if Xaldin sees an attack he will try to dodge it' type stuff? Or - Character B will follow Character A's orders? :E
