"Small ones, blind, got it! Go for the eyessss!!" she seemingly chirped to herself, hopping over a few steps safely in the snow so she could get as many as the little ones as she could. But..what if they weren't looking at her? Hmmm...
"AAAAIIIIEEEEE!!!!" The elf screeched, nearly inhumanely. It was loud, though muffled thankfully to keep snow from dislodging and burying them. Wasting no time, she threw her hands out infront of her and flooded the area with a light seemingly brighter than the sun and a heck of a lot closer, hoping they were all looking at her. She even ran forward as far as she could to get maximum results, knowing they all needed to be blinded so the man could attack.
She then grabbed her sword and waited for new orders or for attacks...or whatever. Bring it on, little ones!

Faye's bid was successful. The young monsters were getting into attacking range of Easley when the girl started yelling out, their primitive instincts demanding they place attention on the source at least for a moment. Their strong eyes easily pierced through the white mist to view the elf herself, but just as she was raising her hands.
A white flash seared the single ye of all four Young Snow Cyclopes(Yes that is indeed the plural of Cyclops). If any had been in high motion at the time instead of slowing down just before as they got closer to Easley then they might have met their end right then and there against the web of deadly wires, but now they simply stumbled backwards and screeched in annoyance and blindness. Three of them covered their eye with their hands, Young Snow Cyclops(2) ventured trying to open his again and found nothing but spots and blurs to greet its vision. Knowing that dangerous cables surrounded them on all sides the children could not run, they just tried to recover quickly.

Fortunately, it would seem his 'partner' knew what she was doing. As bait, she should've gotten their attention in some manner or other. Though, the scream came as a bit of a surprise, admittedly. Easley didn't turn to her though the strongest urge to tear off his ears seized him. Were voice boxes capable of making such a noise? There goes the lore of elves being musically gifted.
On to more urgent business, knowing the flash was coming, Easley made no attempt to look her way. That would've just been foolish. Instead, after a split second confirmation of the flash's effect, Easley took action. His array of wires were all but spent, his clones had long disappeared and he was already nearly facing several other grown cyclops. He didn't need these nuisances alive and well.
Easley sent Breaker Moon straight down first like a dart just as the arrangement of wires began withdrawing within themselves, their effects being at an end (Spent too many turns talking D=). Easley had taken advantage of the Young Cyclops' carefulness, since they believed they were still surrounded by wires and decided it safest not to move around too much. That would be their undoing.
He had aimed his kodachi very precisely on the top of Young Cyclops (2)'s head and when it was sent down, he went with it. The flat of Easley's right foot pressed down against the hilt of his sword and when he descended upon the unsuspecting cyclops, it would drive the kodachi right through the beast's brain. Immediately in doing so, a whip would lash out at Young Cyclops(1) and Young Cyclops (3) heads; one from each of Easley's hands.
"Aim for the head!" Easley said, uncharacteristically loud. Best case scenario, he had managed to get three of the four present. Meaning there was still one left blinded, but relatively unscathed. He would have to rely on Faye's aid to handle the one he couldn't get.

"Head..head! Ooo..how mean." she fretted even as she rushed forward through the fading wires and brandished her blade, holding it in a foreign fashion, but the sharp tip was still aimed for the target; the head. Aww...killing the poor thing when it was blinded...
She felt so bad...
"But...for Prom-Prom!" she yelled as her battle cry, lurching the blade at the remaining head. She both hoped and un-hoped that her blade hit it's mark with no trouble, thus killing the small beast. It was kill or be killed! And if they were killed, poor Prom-Prom may be trapped forever! She couldn't have that, not after giving him her Elfen word.
After then initial attack, she hopped back out of attack range and began to sing a seemingly complicated tune under her breath, slow and exotic. Who said elves weren't musical, beautiful creatures? Just because her scream was like a banshee's didn't mean she couldn't have a beautiful voice also...
However, the song she sang in foreign words wasn't merely a random diddy, instead it was more of a ceremonious prayer of sorts. It didn't effect her awareness whatsoever.

Easley's descent seemed to come at a faster rate than gravity would normally allow, as if propelled by some unknown inner strength. Either way the assassin's aim proved as true a sit could have, driving Breaker Moon down with his foot through the body of Young Cyclops(2). The spear through the brain was too much for the creature, even if it was burly enough and had thick enough muscle and dense enough bones to survive the attack had it landed anywhere else with any less unnatural power. Its head and skull practically spit in half as the kodachi descended clean down into its body, spearing inner organs and tissues for good measure. It would lose all strength and collapse belly-down in the snow in another moment, joining two of its elders.
Easley: SPEED KILL!
At the same time Easley lashed out at either side for two more of the infant Cyclopes, also aiming for their most vulnerable points. It was lucky for the beasts that they had their heads tucked down and their muscular arms and hands raised to cover their eye, as this made them less straightforward targets than their now-deceased kin. Young Snow Cyclops(1) and Young Snow Cyclops(2) both took a blow to their craniums form the razor whip that drew a trail of blood and knocked them off-balance, but scrambling back up, even blinded, seemed to clue them in that the dangers of the web from before were gone. Driven by panic both began to attempt a retreat back to the others, moving slowly at first but picking up speed.
Faye attacked the remaining Young Snow Cyclops(4) with similar results, piercing its thick skin with her blade but not getting very far past the creature's thick skull. She too drew blood but failed to deliver any killing blow. This one did not topple over like the other survivors but did stumble backwards two steps before leaping forward in pure fright, lashing both of its long and powerful arms forward in a desperate attempt to drive off the blinding predator.
Meanwhile, with Easley's defensive net dissipating into nothing, the fully grown mythical beasts still a few hundred meters away now had the chance to stop spewing out amazingly cold breath and start marching forward. Their numbers were evidently higher than the first three to attempt to crush the original ninja invader simply from the sound of their heavy footsteps on the snow.

"Now that's what I like to see." he said with a smile on his face. The mimic had grabbed his fellow wooden brethren and threw one of them towards Tidus. The excitement was almost too much for the young hero as the mimic was hurdling towards him at great speed. He hadn't been this pumped up in a while and he wanted to make this last while he could before leaving the forest.
He still needed to continue his quest to free Prometheus from his binding chains but hacking down a few monsters along the way wouldn't hurt now would it? Tidus reacted instantly and side rolled over to the side stopping about a few feet from where he was standing at just before the mimic could smash into him. Just as he rolled over to the side, another mimic was flung towards him.
Tidus jumped on top of the other mimic striking his sword into the mimics lower half then ran it up as he ran up the body of the mimic, jumping off at the end of the tree swinging his word upwards.
The jump was strong enough to launch him to the air and fly to where the other mimic who had thrown his companions was at. Tidus raised his sword which began to glow a bright blue and green color.
"HAAAA!" He yelled as he brought his sword down right in the center of the mimics oddly shaped head.

Easley compared the risks and he found them wanting. No, he would not be able to compete against even more force; not now that he was beginning to feel weariness tug at his body. It was time to retreat. He wasn't afraid of being called a coward. He was an assassin, there would be other chances. Even these beasts had to sleep some time. A thought crossed his mind; might it be simpler to leave a scape goat to perhaps abate the beasts anger? His 'partner' came to mind. Even if he were to escape, these creatures might be on high alert for quite some term because of the...mess he made. However, perhaps if they found the mangled body of an invader it would be enough to...hm, decisions, decisions. Of course, he had nothing personal against Faye; he was just a business man.
In the end though he chose a different road, one that was perhaps less efficient. Easley took up the kodachi that killed the young cyclops, sheathed it and moved forward with rapid speed, his wires increasing his already prominent agility. A flick of his left hand had a whip hurtling towards the head of the Young Cyclops desperately trying to ward off Faye. Whilst his right hand had wires bind onto Faye's little body and pull her towards himself (His wires need not only slice). Catching her in both arms (She was light, as expected of her size), Easley promptly plucked a hair from her head and he ran.
With little else he was doing besides holding Faye and maintaining his web of awareness, Easley was able to focus on the strand and hence, he created two figures of exact replica to them. Then he fled to the Snowside Path, whilst keeping the replicas [An Easley princess cradling Faye] where they had been [Several metres away from the blinded Young Cyclops]. He would use the clones to deceive the Cyclops into thinking himself and Faye fell to their untimely deaths once they were in visual range.
Keeping track of the events going on with his wires, Easley exited to the snowside path again, Faye in tow.

Faye sure did get tossed around a lot. She'd been just about to open up the earth..whack the thing on the head or otherwise fry the little one-eyed creature when she suddenly felt herself moving without her permission. She really was starting to get used to it. Everyone she'd met so far outside of that nasty little planet she'd lived on had an affinity for jerking her about like a sack of potatoes...
"Gah..!"
Okay...flying through air, tied up in wires...landing into the arms of the man who seemed to be working with her now...Ow! Her jerked her head up to look at him when he pulled one of her hairs. "What was that for?" she asked, though really she was completely trusting. Trust...she shouldn't throw it around so lightly. If only she'd known that only moments before he'd contemplated offering her as a sacrifice to these monsters..
Hey, they were running... Running away? She seemed confused. She hadn't wanted to run away...but maybe both of them were in danger of dying if not. Hm, then this was a good decision. But now they were back on that stupid path.
"...Uhm...Do you have another plan?" she asked, voice still chirpy.

Enaad's special attack glowed brilliantly with power, more so than the summoner could normally emit with his moogle. Spheres of energy blasted out and slammed against Mimick(5) and Mimick(4). The former's already-weakened trunk was completely obliterated by the blasts while the latter was also destroyed by a combination of Enaad and Mocko's attack and Tidus' coinciding physical strike. In the treetops Mimic(1) tried to flee the magical onslaught with come fancy acrobatics and randomly-appearing limbs, but it was for naught. Its already-weakened and exposed black body was disintegrated entirely by the summon's magic.
Enaad: SPEED KILL!
The summoner and his summon ended their attack as Mimic(5) emerged from the smoking mass of dead wood that was once in the form of a tree, its multiple red eyes all focused on the pair as it flung at them quickly and fired off a rapid series of thrusts, thin limbs numbering close to the double-digits growing out of and retracting back into its form with sharp points at the end of each one. Tidus had to face a similar peril as the Mimic(4) emerged from its ruined disguise and attempted to get right up into the young athlete's personal space and bind up his arms and legs by looping its growing limbs out like tight ropes and wrapping him up.
The second and third Mimicks had survived Enaad's assault due to their distance from the attacking point and now slowly stood up tall again. They turned to face the action, forming a dual living barrier to the exit of the Treeside Path, like watchful guardians biding their time.

The assassin had carried the elven girl out of the Cyclops Settlement and back toward the Snowside Path, leaving behind a pair of doubles to imitate them. Their escape had been just in time to avoid the clear visual range of the fully-grown mythical beasts. The pair made good on their mimed fatal fall over the edge of the area down the mountainside, if the impromptu duo's lack of pursuers was any indication.
In the meantime though both Easley and Faye would now have to face the rolling snow masses that started up falling down the slanted wall at the moment of their reappearance there. They would have a few precious moments to either retreat, try to beat the boulders to the other half of the path where they did not fall before, or set up some sort of defence before the hazards were upon them again.
