The shadowmage was a bit confused at Mickey's explanation. If that bizarre occurrence moments ago had been a sampling of memories to make these "World Cards"... then why had he, too, been targeted? What had they "sampled" from a man without memories?? Knowledge.
Or, to be more accurate... me. 'What?!' Magus thought, barely restraining his voice from speaking the word aloud. The other two would not have interpreted his reaction well -- no doubt he'd already lost some credibility earlier from the incident with the cat. Thus the mage kept silent while an unheard dialogue played out in his head. 'Explain yourself!'The unheard voice in his head seemed to sigh, wearily. You asked me once if I was a fragment of you.
No... the truth is, we are both fragments. I am Knowledge... and you are Will.
Those Heartless didn't sample your memories -- not, at least, from me. But Memory and Knowledge have a degree of overlap... and perhaps it was enough for their purposes. 'You sound particularly worried by this...'If the entirety of your being existed around a body of information, you'd be concerned as well.
This could jeopardize my very existence... put us BOTH in grave danger! 'Just how much danger?'More than enough... That meant there was no time left to waste. Knowing his lost knowledge, and perhaps his memories as well, could indeed be at stake, Magus hastened to follow Dante and Mickey into the doorway. Was it one of his memories that awaited beyond?

As the three stepped through the portal that consisted of, in appearance, light, a faint crzzt could be heard. Nothing loud, nothing major. ...hopefully. The blinding light filled every vast corner of the area in front of the travelers. However, the light soon gave way... sounds started coming through the haze, like a faint tide rubbing up warmly against the faded sand, and a nice cool breeze making it's way through some far off trees. Fish waded, boards creaked, and footsteps made their mark on the sand beneath the travelers' feet. Blue sky filled the view of the onlookers, though the sea (a blue very near to the sky's on hue) made a definitive appearance as well. The rustle of foliage behind the visitors made the rest of the paradise apparent: the blue-green trees and many plants hazily made their appearance. The twitter of birds and white speckles among the trees alerted the presence of indigenous creatures, and running water made for a pleasant view among the wavy grass inland. Little could spoil this view. This... experience. The small landmass was truly a getaway from most troubles. And yet, trouble still found a way to present itself... The travelers now numbered two. Mickey and Dante were alone, with the door behind them shutting all on it's own, on the small island. Welcome to Destiny Islands. [YAAAAY PLOT TWIST! Magus, you're being diverted to a new thread. Find it here:
As for Bilby and Dante, set the post order. I'll be popping inbetween you guys for this one.
No objective yet.
Aaaaand... action!]

"Magus?!"
Mickey was certain that he heard the amnesiac following close behind him as they went through the doorway. Certainly they had both gotten through it before the sound of it closing.
The King turned to see Dante still there, which was good. The two of them would need to work together to find their lost ally now as well as overcome the trials of this castle.
"We're in Destiny Islands," His Majesty said aloud. For some reason he wondered if there might be some clue of the Mystic's disappearance in that. He recalled the youth's story from before the mention of this place. "They could have formed this World Card from either your memories or mine, Dante. I've been here before as well. But Magus probably hasn't."
Was that why they were together but not him? Mickey briefly wondered if their friend would suddenly come bouncing past them inside a green Friend Card. He'd been there before himself.
"He'll be lost here, if he even is. We should search quickly."

Dante walked through the light, appearing on an all to familiar island. It was all the same as before. The sand crunched beneath his shoes as he walked and the scent of salty sea air invaded his nostrils. The sun beamed down on the warrior, sending warmth throughout his body. Destiny Islands was his home, but his feelings and memories of this place only made him greif. Everyone here, no matter who they were, wouldn't remember him. His family and the ones he loved were now strangers, no longer his family or friends. Was he destined to live his life in pain until he finally chooses his alignment as Heartless or Nobody?
Dante bowed his head, holding back his anger and possible tears. He was strong, but when it came to Destiny Islands, the Ex-Apprentice was beat, left to feel sadness and sorrow. It was as if this pain came from Destiny Islands itself, pushing its anger out through Dante. Worlds had something similar to a heart, right? Maybe this was a good thing, but still, it hurt Dante more than intended. Taking a deep breath, he looked over at Mickey with a casual face, responding to the mouse.
"Well, wouldn't he have come with you? He was here just a minute ago, right? Magus!?" The yell echoed throughout the island, and after a few minutes of waiting, there was no response, at least to Dante. He groaned, scratching his scalp. "Well, lets go look for him. He could be anywhere right now, even at sea... Any ideas, Mickey?"

[Looks like you guys know what you're doing.
Bilby Dante
I'll jump in at random for this Memory World. Destiny Islands is a slow pace kind of world anyway.
Otherwise, keep on going!]

"Well, let me see if I can spot anything around here from the air," the mouse answered. His Majesty though he might either spot Magus or perhaps some memory-crafted residents of the island. He walked to a nearby palm tree and then performed a single leap, taking him to the top of it. From there he turned towards the main body of the island and performed another, much more impressive spinning jump. The King sailed an additional 60 feet into the air from the tree's top and used his hang time to look around in all directions, hand over his brow to block the sun.

Dante began to look around while Mickey jumped from treetop to treetop in hopes of finding the lost ally. It was odd that Magus would be the one that would get lost. The warrior was sure that it would've been him. With no luck in finding the shadowmage, Dante rested his body on a stair step, sighing loudly as he rubbed his aching head. He looked back towards Mickey, hoping that the mouse may have found any sign of Magus on the islands. "Hey, Mickey! Found anything yet!?"
This island was making him angry. It makes him sad and angered and now this! What wouldn't this island do to him? It seemed that the possibilities of torture were endless, ranging from making his friends hate him, to having giant manta rays rain from the sky. Dante was soon going to burst in a spasm of hatred toward the damned island and would attempt to do everything in his power to destroy it.

[To heck with the post order! WOOOOOO!]
In the far off distance, beneath the shady platform built into the trees, built from the finest of random 2 x 4's, that many had so often used for sparring... the travelers could vaguely make out some yelling.
Frightened yelling.
Pained yelling?
The only definite thing you could garner from the yelling... was that it was definitely a male voice.
The most His Majesty could notice of the situation, given the midday shade, were many small figures moving around and one tall one in the middle of it all.
...were rabid penguins trying to tackle a hyena on an island in the middle of nowhere?
...was someone being attacked by Heartless?
...
I'd go with the second.

"Dante!" the King yelled from over sixty feet overhead. "Over that way! It looks like someone might be in trouble!"
The mouse fell down through a series of somersaults and landed right next to the boy, then waved his arm ina "come on" motion towards the direction he'd spied the activity and heard the noise with his large and impressive ears.
"Let's go!" he said before running off, making sure not to leave his partner behind. Mickey of course understood that it couldn't be a real person in trouble from a card-transmuted floor of the castle, or at least that it was unlikely to the highest degree, but that didn't make helping any less the right thing to do!

The loud yelling echoed through Dante's ears, making him focus his gaze to where the sound had come from. It was a male's voice, the warrior was sure of that. He stood up, reaching for his cleaver as Mickey jumped down. With those ears of his, it wouldn't have surprised Dante much if the mouse had heard the same thing he had. With a little motion, Dante was off after the giant mouse, following his every movement.
"Hey, Mickey. Did you see anyone?" This person may be Magus, or it could be the memories from one of the two. It was hard to tell, seeing as how this castle was so complex in nature. Whatever or whoever was in trouble, helping them out was the only thing on the Ex-Apprentice's mind.

As they began their dash for the wooden platform, the voice grew in volume and urgency. The boy- for it was a boy if the voice was anything to go by- wasn't exactly doing well.
This wasn't Magus. But the voice seemed vaguely familiar to Dante...

"Its just up ahead!" the King exclaimed, performing another sixty-foot arcing leap with his High Jump ability, clearing distance faster than if he had run it and peeking up for a better view. He would repeat the process again and again as he closed the gap.

Like Mickey, Dante, too, had the High Jump ability, learned from Madam when he was her Apprentice. Closing up on Mickey, he heard a voice. Something familiar that he had heard before. Was it? No... Richard. High Jumping as far and fast as possible, Dante closed up on the boy, sure, now, that it was who he thought it was.
The memories he had of Richard were immense. The two were great friends from the time they were born to before Dante was taken by the storm. They were unseperable friends that had minimum fights and even when they did fight, they made up quickly. Now he was being attacked by Heartless and the warrior was going to save him.
OOC: You left me with little to base upon, Rocket, so I just created the character. If you still want to create him, I'll edit.

[Naw, no worries. As it is, I was worried about the guy's name.
Rich'll do just fine.
Posting order DISABLED.]As the two heroes rounded around and came up on the platform in question, they found a great many Shadow Heartless swarming a boy just a shade younger than Dante. The boy had flaming orange hair that seemed to defy gravity- while most of it was quite normal, a tuft of it jutted out and up. It kinda worked, actually! The boy wore a pair of jeans and a starch white shirt, covered by an open grey jacket. He had a very... well, "sure of himself" attitude. His eyes were bright and alight with intelligence, though they wore a sense of cooled focus. A slight frown crossed his mouth, as though the small horde of Heartless was just a slight annoyance. His mouth, half open and ready to yell out for help again, froze as the pair came up to the platform. And then made a slight smirk. "Dante! 'Bout time you showed up. Who's the- aah!" A Shadow had jumped up and bashed him hard in the right side. He hadn't been looking. Breathing hard, the boy jumped back a step and kept light on his toes. This wasn't the time to let his guard down. He looked up at Dante and Mickey. "Um, a little help...?" - Defeat the Heartless! (15 Shadows)
- Protect Dante's childhood friend, Richard!

"Don't worry, Rich! I'll protect you!" Dante was pissed now. Without making any type of plan up with Mickey, the warrior jumped into the battle scene and began to attack. Swiftly, the teen swung his cleaver around, smashing about two heartless that were in his way. The made thirteen, soon making twelve after killing the one that had attacked Richard. Making his way up to his friend, Dante glanced over, giving his own smirk.
"Sorry for keeping you, Rich. Hope these things aren't too inconvenient for ya. Just stay behind me and you'll safe, K?" The heartless were surrounding the area, their giant eyes glaring into space. These minor heartless weren't a problem, but in vast numbers, they could kill a herd of bulls.
