"Well then, why don't we try that secret place first? If it really is a secret she might have thought that it was a good place to hide from the Heartless," Mickey added at the end, looking over to Rich to offer an explanation for why it would be a good idea.
"I don't know where it is so you'll have to lead the way, Dante."

Rich nodded slowly. "Yeah... she might've made it there in time. The place is plenty small... and secret..." Nodding more quickly, Rich grinned and turned back around to the rest of the group. "Okay! Sounds like a plan!"
Looking over to Dante, Rich motioned with his bat towards the waterfalls. "You lead, bud."

Dante wasn't used to being the leader of anything. He'd always been a follower, never letting attention be drawn to him. Well, guess there's a starting point for everything. Starting for the cave at a moderate pace, he motioned for the others to follow. If Molly was in the Secret Place, that would cause some relief for everyone, mostly Richard, though.
There was a time, when the two were young, when Dante and Richard would travel across the island in search of mysterious items. There weren't any real items to look for, just a few interesting objects in the sand and in the cave and stuff. They used to find things like fist shaped shells, moopn shaped rocks, and all sorts of stuff. They were adventurous at that time, their minds set on finding the best out of everything. Now, times have changed, but their adventurous spirit still lingers on somewhere.

Mickey's white glove opened up and was held in Dante's direction as he walked away, offering Rich to go ahead and follow him first. Mickey would take up the rear of the small train of people as they headed for the tiny cave entrance beside the huge tree trunk. he might have been drained from his excessive magic use earlier but his ears and senses were as sharp as ever. He would know just in case anything tried to get at them during the short trip.

Rich nodded in respond to Mickey's silent offer to let him go ahead of him. Holding the bat in his right hand, leaning against the same side's shoulder, he followed Dante up the wooden steps. Rich's eyes still flitted about the place, keen on picking up the slightest possible clue to his younger sister's whereabouts.
The waterfall was a sight to behold, as always. The water gleamed as it trickled, even sparkling around where the droplets hit the water.
Around to the left of it was much in the way of shrubbery surrounding one spot of the rock.
Surprisingly, despite the perilous conditions, the place seemed as peaceful as ever.

Dante kept his mind on getting to the Secret Place, but it was hard. The islands were so beautiful, something to behold, really. The sky was crystal clear and the water was crisp when obtained from the waterfall. The foilage was green and all of the other colors of tropical leaves, supporting the fact of elegance. Well, now wasn't the time to be sight seeing. The group was now at the mouth of the cave, Dante having to almost get on his knees to crawl through the small opening. Once in the cave, he would be able to stand up all the way.

Unlike Dante and Rich Mickey would barely have to stoop to get through the secret place's small entrance. Before doing so however he turned and looked back over the beach to make sure none of the Shadows that had fled before were stalking them.
Hopefully no nasty surprises were inside either.

Down on his hands and knees, Rich followed along behind Dante through the small hole. Surrounded by grey darkness, Rich silently wondered about the others. There was Mao, and Glenn, and...
Rich's face grew a little red at the thought of the islander that'd come to mind, looking up towards Dante.
If Ange was gone...
If those things, whatever they were, got to her... how would Dante...?
"So... um, what were those things?"

"They're called Heartless. If you want a normal name, they're Shadows. They're the small fry of the Heartless population." Finally, they were in the cave. Now all there was left was to go down the long corridor and into the center of the cave. In there, they would know wether or not Molly was in there. So, leading the way, Dante began to wander through the long hallway like path, turning every corner.
"So, Richard. How has everyone been? Are my parents doing fine?"

"Be sure to keep an eye on what's ahead," the small royal spoke in as easy a manner possible. It would be bad to be caught by Heartless in such a confined space, but at least they had Rich secured between the two of them.
Mickey wondered if Dante was being sucked into the illusion of the castle already. When one spent too long in one of these card worlds one often started to forget that they weren't the real thing until you finally left them.

The Secret Place was a cave of the interesting kind... though it was closed mainly, there was a hole up top, far out of range for even a leap of Mickey's, that let sunlight and a view of some foliage through. A faint echo of wind was let through by the hole as well... Along the grey walls were many drawings, hewn into the rock by various islanders. The tool of choice was definitely rock of the same make, if the blunt rocks that littered the ground were anything to go by. Two rocks gave off a faint glow from underneath them.
There was also a strange panel of wood, that closely resembled a door without a handle, firmly attached to the wall further in. If you banged on it, a loud hollow noise would soon follow. To the right of it, a large rock stuck out. On the rock were carvings that closely resembled Sora and Kairi... one in particular was sure to bring attention: an exchange of stars between the two was etched onto the stone.
No one was in the Secret Place. However, there were definite signs of a struggle here. Rocks overturned, and footprints in forgotten sand that were far too small to be human, gave off quite an impresson...
...but no human footprints were visible.
Sighing, Rich rubbed the bat up and down on his shoulder in thought. "Guess she's not here...."

Mickey came in last and looked around, examining the signs on the ground. Shadow prints, most likely. He then took a look around but didn't ahve the chance to notice the markings on the wall with the familliar spiky-haired image. The King had been wodnering if any of his own memories of this place would pop up, though. Having even just illusions of Riku or Sora around would be a big help against anything those Mushroom Heartless might be up to, at least while on this floor of the castle.
The Mushrooms. They were still the main problem, not finding a missing memory ghost. But in order to get off this floor the memories had to be followed. The fact that Heartless were attacking the people on the floor... was it the 13 Mushrooms' doings, or just a symbol of the darkness within Dante conflicting with the memories he still held dear in his heart?
"What's that door doing here?" the King asked, never having been in this particular place of the island before. A wooden door in a rock wall was highly peculiar. "Could Molly be through there?"
Well, there weren't any signs of her footprints, but in this castle one couldn't always be sure.

"I doubt it. That door has no handle and no one has been able to pry it open, so I highly doubt that Molly could've made her way through that." Dante may have just destroyed some ideas, but there needed to be fact. In the cave, there were overturned rocks and footprints, heartless footprints no doubt, signaling off a struggle. What if Molly was sitting on the rock? That could've been why there were no other foot prints. Still, there would've been a few from her entering the cave.
"Hey, Richard. where's Molly's favorite place on the island? Maybe she could've gone there instead." It was a possibility. If Rich knew, then that would mean one step closer to finding his sister.

Rich shook his head. "The docks, remember? She liked to mess around with everyone else's boats." Looking down, dejected, Rich scuffed his shoe against a rock who's underside was faintly glowing. The rock promptly overturned, revealing a small quartz like jewel. Eyes widened, Rich went down and picked it up. Tossing it to Dante, he asked, "Either of you know what it is?" Mythril Crystal x1 [Note! Any objects recieved with the gold Obtained! banner are real items. At the end of the quest, they'll be in your inventory.

Dante examined the crystal closely. He had never seen something like this before. "No. I've never seen anything like this before." Well, it looked pretty valuable, so, for the sake of everything, Dante decided to keep it. Still, he held it out to Mickey, hoping he knew what it was.
"Anywhere else, Rich? Is there anywhere else that your sister may have gone to other than home? Think hard! Real hard." Richard was the only person that could lead them to Molly. He was her brother and it was his duty as a brother to invade his sister's privacy and find things out like this. If Richard didn't contribute, he would have to take that bat and beat him until the information came out. Something flashed in Dante's eyes just then.
It was the flash of determination and heroism. He apparently made a mental objective to find Molly, his heart finally reaching a little bit of light.
