Mickey had been drawn to the door. It was as if he could sense some power behind it, even if the power wasn't the real thing. The King was tapping on the door with his knuckles and hearing the hollow sound beyond when Rich made his discovery.
"Hmm? Oh, well what do you know?" the King said knowingly at the sight. "That's Mythril. Its a rare mineral. If you ever meet someone good at metal works they could make something pretty special with that."
Noticing a similar glow at his feet Mickey reached down to see if it was more of the same.

Mythril Crystal x1 "A rare crystal, huh? Who would've thought that you could find something like that on these islands, of all places..." Rich raised an eyebrow as a question came to mind. "You don't think that's why these Heartless things are popping up, do you? For these... myth crystal things?" -scuffle, scuffle, scuffle...-Rich immediately jumped up to his feet. Something was coming through the entrance. [Alrighty! When you've gotten a "real" item like that, post who's going to be taking it/them for real in the sign up thread. That way, I can keep track of who's getting what and so I can post on that first bit what everyone has for your benefit!]

"Well, hey! A rare mineral is great! There may be some worth for it after all!" Throwing the crystal into the air, the warrior caught it quickly, smiling as he did so. Then, he heard the weirdest thing. The sound of shuffling came from the entrace and was gaining on the three. "Crap. Stay ready guys. It may be an enemy." If Dante was right, then the group would already be in a perfect position to ambush the monsters, but if it were a human, then they would probably have to explain why the hell they were about to kill them.

There was really nothing more for Mickey to do but to move alongside Dante so that both of them were between the entrance and Richard. Using his big ears he tried to guess how big the thing coming was, or how many. No Keyblade was summoned, for with any luck it would be another of Dante's memories.

As the noise's echo grew closer, and more clear, the sound of fabric on rock soon became distinct. So it wasn't a Heartless... A dark shape rounded around the bend in the tunnel, coming up on the exit. As she came up to the exit, light revealed her identity as the seven-year-old Molly McCune, ponytail, overalls, and all. She coughed, crawling out of the entrance. Rich ran over to her, ready to pull her up, when she shoved him back. "Wha- Molls...?" Molly shook her head as she scrambled forward. "The- it- they're right behind me!" Running past the trio so as to hug the far wall, Molly barely took note of her brother's companions in her panicked state. True to her word, three Shadow Heartless popped out from the hole. If you listened closely, you could hear more of the things coming. Defeat the Heartless! (3 Shadows in room, ?? total.) Keep Molly safe!

In a flash the Darkside appeared once more.
"Rich, stay back with Molly! Watch the ground and walls around you, these things can move across them like shadows! Call for me if any are getting close. Dante, I'm still recharging my magic. I'll have to rely on you for now. Stay at the opening and use the narrow tunnel to pick them off and defend. I'll say in the middle and make sure to stop any that get past you."
Like the commander he was Mickey dolled out the battle plan and then took his own position, right in the center of the secret spot.

"Got it, Mickey. Richard, Molly, Stay safe!" The young warrior made his way towards the first three shadows that had popped in. These things weren't going to get past Dante, no matter what. A mighty slash of the cleaver would probably bring them all down, so the Ex-Apprentice did just that. He planned on going through the hole after these things were finished.
The only thing that bothered him now was how many of the Shadows were coming. If Dante's theory was right, it would be a pretty decent bunch. They all were coming for Molly's heart, too, so that didn't help much.

Molly nodded, despite fear continuing to shake her body. Rich covered her as Mickey ordered, bringing his baseball bat out from the card in a flash of grey light. Any Heartless that made it past the other two would get a strong whack from Rich, knocking them back towards the hole. However, Rich can't get more than one Heartless at a time! Dante's slash hit two of the three Shadows, which knocked them over to the side and did a pretty good amount of damage. One more hit should be good to get those two. The third one wasn't quite in range though, and managed to evade the attack by charging forward to hit Dante in the leg. It was a sideways glance, though. Not a ton of hurt behind it. Shaking their heads from the slash, the two hurt Heartless flattened out as shadows and began to crawl forward, towards Molly. One jumped out from it's shade early, though, and started to jump for the two memory beings practically next to Mickey. The other waited for Mickey to move to defeat the stupid Shadow, fully intending to jump forward a get the King in the back. Two more Shadows emerged from the hole. Five Heartless in room, ?? total. Two badly hurt, three undamaged.
Dante is only bruised, at worst.
Molly's Hysteria level: 3 If it reaches 10, she'll become a Heartless. Keep the Heartless away from her and try to beat a Heartless each post to calm her down. Recieving damage or letting Heartless past you will increase the level.

Argh! Damnit. The heartless got past him and went straight for the three behind him. No. This wasn't over yet. Not by a long shot! Suddenly, measures of music, two to be exact, appeared on the ground under the heartless near the three and under the two at the entrance. With a wave of his darkness engulfed hand, the warrior conducted a small piece to kill the heartless that were above ground. "I already made a promise to you all, even if you didn't hear it. I'm going to protect you with my life and no matter what happens to me, I'll pass on in happiness! Shadow Melody!" Notes roared from the measures to strike the heartless, but this wasn't everything that was in store for these beasts. The Ex-Apprentice took his left hand and brought it down in a smash on the two heartless coming from the entrance. If this was the only way to defeat the heartless, then so be it. Rich... Molly... Mickey and Magus... They were the reason he had gotten this far, and now he was going to repay them all.
[Time for teh epic musics.]

A ball of white light emerged from the King's left hand and chased the leaping Shadow on its own accord. When the pearl spell caught it mid-jump it would be able to freeze the thing in mid-air and pulse paralyzing light through its tiny dark body(A nice, easy target for Rich if it somehow survived), and the homing power meant Mickey could keep watching the other one. If it tired to strike him then it had nothing but a face full of Keyblade to look forward to in addition to Dante's Shadow Melody.

Dante's magic bashed the two hurt Shadows out of existence. His Shadow Melody had an unfortunate effect on the other Heartless, though. While the music did do some damage to the other three Shadows, it didn't perform at full strength. Rather, it knocked the three Heartless into the air, giving them a slight boost straight up. The Pearl that was cast continued it's path towards the stupid Shadow. It managed to reach it, and blast it out of oblivion, but not before it got a little too close to the McCunes. The blast/poof freaked Molly out some. Molly Hysteria +1 Mickey was right to expect the other Heartless to do something. Being ready for something had him react soon enough for the thing that did happen. Mickey got the Heartless in the middle of it's jump, across the back. The Heartless was bashed down wards and hit the floor with a loud whoompf. It was defeated. The other Heartless that was launched into the air came down on Dante's head, and none too lightly. It promptly became shaking around in an inconvenient manner, grabbing Dante's ears and shoving it's head this way and that. Crrnkt, crnnkt.Up above, two flower like Heartless appeared. They were firmly attached to the ceiling. They made no move to attack just yet, but it was definitely their intention. On top of that, the light coming from the hole way up top dramatically faded. Either nighttime came early, and super fast, or something else was coming. Molly Hysteria +1 This was getting dangerous. There was still something shuffling around in the tunnel, but there's no way to tell what it is now. But it's safe to say what's in there isn't going to make it in just yet. Rich was starting to get nervous. "Guys...." Brandishing his bat, the memory-being looked like he wanted to go help, but decided to follow Mickey's orders. For now. Surprisingly, he was more worried about the Heartless than Molly just then. Three Heartless in room, ?? total. Two out of direct reach, one on Dante's head. All at full health.
Dante should be perfectly fine now.

"Get... off of me... you dirty bastard!" The warrior grasped the heartless and threw it on the ground taking a stomp at it as it dropped. This was getting dangerous. Dante didn't think that the four would survive this battle, so, without further thought to the plan, the teen became what he was before; a leader. Brandishing his cleaver once more, the teen pointed towards the entrance.
"We'll have to make a run for it! I'll go first to take the brunt of any attacks! Rich and Molly, stay in between me and Mickey! Mickey, stay at the end and make sure to bash anything that gets behind us!" With that the warrior dropped his weapon, allowing it to dissapear as his body began to glow with a black aura. His body began to grow in strength and speed, so now he'll be able to take anything outside on.
His eyes pierced through the three, hoping they would abide by his orders. This was the only way to survive. The teen stood at the entrance, creating a final Shadow Melody on the ceiling to dispatch of the two heartless. With a wave of his hand, the notes roared up in succesion.

Mickey honestly wasn't sure going outside was the best plan. So many different directions they could be attacked from out there, and him still recovering power. Still, perhaps getting Molly freed form this confined space and around the two boys she knew and trusted would help keep the girls' spirits up. His Majesty certainly didn't know she was in danger of becoming a Heartless, but he still cared about her being afraid.
The Darkside Keyblade swung directly overhead at the sound of the plant Heartless creeping through above. Two full-power Pearl spells, some of the strongest light magic one could learn in this universe, shot out of its tip during the arc and rose up. The two curved in their vertical paths and then moved diagonally towards one Heartless each. That was to keep them between Molly and Richard and the Heartless so the plants would have no clear line of sight at them. If the Pearls connected their light-trocution would keep the creatures busy, and if they survived Dante's rising Shadow Melody should be enough to deal the final blows.
The shade from above was unsettling though.
"All right," he decided, seeing as the boy probably wasn't going to change his mind anyway. These were Dante's memories. It was up to him to see them through to the end. The King would support him as best he could. With that the mouse turned toward the two "ghosts" and gave his most calming, reassuring look and smile to the pair. "We're going to get you both safely out of here," he said in a way that really made one believe him. His determination quickly returned but his kindness did not fade.
With that Mickey hopped high enough to look over Dante's head and threw his Keyblade. The weapon became a spinning buzz saw that flew over the ex-apprentice's head horizontally but quickly curved into vertical once it was past. The edge touched the ground and then sped into the small tunnel like a wheel, hopefully softening up any resistance they were going to meet.
"Now get going! I'm right behind!" His Majesty said just as commandingly as Dante had before he landed. While Rich and Molly would rush past Mickey would turn his eyes straight up, both free hands glowing with bright light. He pointed both upwards and released a heavy spray of miniature Pearls. These were weak projectiles of light without homing or paralyzing power, but by cutting back on quality it allowed the King quantity, practically filling the narrow shaft with the sparks(And giving them light to see by) before immediately rushing after Molly and Rich when they passed him(Assuming they did).

Success! The two plant Heartless were dispatched before being able to make a move on the heroes. One of the two Creeper Plants dropped a blue card after it was destroyed. It drifted towards the floor, but a little slowly. If you want it, you'll have to take the time to turn around and jump up for it. Grabbing Molly's hand, ("C'mon Molls, we're getting outta here. No more black things outside, okay? Calm down...") Rich nodded in response to Mickey and Dante's orders as he ran to follow behind Dante. Getting Molly moving, and getting rid of the plant Heartless, worked well on calming her down some. Breathing heavily, she nodded and ran with her brother. "Thanks." Molly Hysteria -2 Note: Getting Molly completely calmed down well remove any chance of her becoming a Heartless. BAMF, BA-BAMF, BAMF! was the resulting sound from Mickey's Keyblade rolling along through the tunnel. So there'd been more than one Heartless in there... But that meant any that weren't destroyed would be waiting for them outside. No noise came from the above hole. The light kept the dark tint, though. No Heartless in room, at least three with moderate(?) damage outside. ?? total.

The warrior made his way through the tunnel, keeping in front of the group. What was happening to Destiny Islands? Dante knew that this was all a memory, but why was it so dark? Was it his own memories stacking ontop of the memories of darkness? There were heartless everywhere on this Island, so it wasn't a big surprise when they came through the cave. Oh, he hoped everyone was alright...
The faint glimmer of light was coming from the end of the tunnel, the teen giving a smirk. "Almost there!" Come on!
