"Um... Well, I guess nothing. I've just been helping you guys." Was Molly feeling well? She seemed to have been knocked out hard enough to have lost a little memory, but it didn't quite matter. The other three would inform her of what she forgot, anyways. Dante sighed a bit and looked over to the path that Mickey and the Shadow had taken. Maybe now was the time to go and see if he was alright. "Can you guys walk? If not, we can just stay here."
To tell the truth, the warrior was getting a bit tired. This was becoming a big hassle for him to handle, even with Mickey and Magus, not to mention Richard. A nice long rest after he got out of the castle would be nice. Maybe he would invite the other three to come take a break if they had the time?

[Nah, it'll be a freebie Bilby. Both of 'em, actually. Given the "battle" is over, all powers are now reset. Any one uses and all that jazz are back to normal. Happy day!]_ DANTE_____ Molly shrugged. "I... guess. Still feel kinda fuzzy, after she- uh, I mean... well, this whole thing. Hey..." Jumping up to her feet, Molly twisted her head to look around. "Where'd the mouse guy-" "That's Mister mouse to you." broke in Rich, in a mock-serious tone. His thoughts flew back to Mickey's impressive flying maneuvers. That was the kind of awesome Richard McCune wanted to be able to do on a moment's whim. Instead, he got whacked, badly hurt, and whined for Dante. Hrm. Rich's spirits took a bit of a dive at that thought. Molly rolled her eyes. "Yeah. Him. I wanted to ask him-" "About the weather?" "No, just-" "The moon?" "Rich, just-" "Or howabout that strange looking--" Molly stamped her foot in far too childish a manner to be taken seriously. "Howabout I shut that big mouth and... and... what?" Rich wasn't looking at Molly. Or Dante. Or joking. Following Rich's line of sight, Molly turned around and looked up into the sky. What she saw wasn't comforting. "What the heck?!" "Mmm." Rich grunted in return. The night sky was very nearly torn in two. A huge rent in the sky was fast taking over the friendly sight of the stars. This might also explain why the moon wasn't out-- hadn't there always been a moon in Destiny Islands? Bad things are happening... ...familiar things. _ MICKEY_____ BAMF!The pillar of ice blasted out from the ground, effectively sending the Heartless skyward. As it came about it's descent, the Shadow flailed it's limbs around. Apparently, Shadow Heartless and flying don't mix. Go figure. BR-FUMPT!It wasn't the pillar that did it so much as the fall. A very near thing- and very unlucky that the Heartless had gotten the brunt of it- but the Shadow did indeed seem to be out for the count. I'd be surprised if it could take too much more beating, though. That wasn't exactly the first hit it'd received during this battle. Sadly, it seems the Corridor of Darkness need the Shadow nearby to remain available. That little trip skyward must've tipped off the presence of someone else, and had the Corridor fading away. Ah well. [Goooooood evening passengers! This is the 5 round warning: the Destiny Islands Boss Battle is fast approaching. Grab your gear, say your goodbyes (if you think you're gonna die or something XP), and be ready to move. And I mean move.]

(( Still 5 rounds to wait? Yeesh, I hope we can get a lot done in my days off coming up. XD ))
Mickey secured the unconscious Shadow around its tiny body with his left and put his Keyblade away. The King began the short walk back to the others when he looked up at the sky.
Now, Mickey had never been on a world as it was being devoured into darkness before. Not like Sora and Riku had. But he did remember Dante's story of experiencing Destiny Island's fateful night. He couldn't be sure without being a first-hand witness, but right now he was worried that Castle Oblivion might be starting to re-create just that.
Which meant they were running out of time.
"Dante! Rich! Molly!" His Majesty yelled as he ran back to the other three. If that night did get played out again then Heartless may begin appearing in droves again at any moment. He knew that much from the stories of people in Traverse Town. "We have to move fast! If Magus is somewhere on the island then we have to find him! Where haven't we been yet?!"
Leave to the King to want no man left behind.

Dante stared in awe at the rent in the sky, remembering Destiny Islands when he was sixteen. What if that huge Heartless came out again? Would the same thing in real life happen to the memory made Destiny Islands? He heard Mickey calling everyone's names and askinga question. The warrior looked back, his body becoming tense. "Well, there's a place behind this area. There are only two ways to get there, the easiest being through the door."
Dante pointed under the bridge. "Anywhere's safer than here. Let's go!" The Ex-Apprentice jumped from the pool of water and onto dry land, waiting for the others to follow. He knew that Richard and Molly knew where he was talking about, so if he got a little bit ahead, they could show Mickey where to go.

[Hey, I can make it rain Heartless if you want, Bilby!]
Molly dashed right after Dante, emotions and fear running across her face in anticipation of the coming... well, whatever it was that's coming. Because it won't be good. Or anything near that...
Rich held back, not only to grab his dropped baseball bat, but to get a chance to talk with His Majesty. As the King came up, Rich dashed up and ran alongside him. "We're headed for that shed thing over near the edge." he told him. "Other half of the island-- uh, why're you carrying one of the things?"

"I'm sorry Rich, there isn't a lot of time to explain," the King said sounding genuinely sorry he couldn't offer much more at the moment. He simply continued to run after Molly and Dante in the lead around the beach below the wooden bridge. "But don't worry, Dante and I know what we're doing. Just stick close to us and keep Molly with you and we'll all get through this night just fine. There was one more person who came here to the island and we have to find him as soon as we can."

The warrior turned his head, seeing Molly following somewhat close behind. He had made his way under the bridge, coming up to the door that lead to the other part of the island. It was where challenges and bets were made, since the other part of the island was an obstacle course. It came with a zipline, rigged bridge and many other traps. He remembered racing Rich once, both of them almost killing themselves. Dante and Richard had jumped on the zip line at the same time, for some odd reason, and they both almost fell into the rough sand from a good height.
He stopped by the door, hoping that the others were close behind Molly. "Come on! I'm waiting for ya, guys!"

Molly ran right past Rich, straight for the doorway. Taking no time to say anything in the process. Guess she's kinda worried, eh?
Rich heard Dante's call, and sped up all that much more for it. "Guess we gotta keep moving." he grunted out. "Hey, who else is on the island?" Rich asked Mickey. "Molly 'n me know where the people usually hang out; maybe we can get to them in time."

"Everyone stay together!" the King commanded as he and, presumably, Dante and Rich crossed the doorway onto the other side of the island. There was a lone bridge to the main beach area. It looked a bit old, but fairly solid. Mickey quickly went to cross it.
"We're looking for a man named Magus. He has long hair, pale skin and wears a purple cape. Keep your eyes peeled, everyone."

"Wait, Mickey! Part of that bridge is rigged!" God damnit. If only he had stopped and told Mickey what this part of the island was meant for. Well, no use in crying over spilled milk, right? The warrior began his descent from the platform and into the water, running forward. This was how he always beat a few of the kids who thought they were 'all that'. Rules were that you could use any path to get to the finish line and back and Dante took advantage over this rule.
"The third bridge piece is the rigged one, Mickey! Jump over it!" The rift in the sky spelt out certain doom for the memory island. Stop the rift or not, Destiny Islands was toast.

...wait. Rich and Molly-- they're gone.
Where--
WHAM!
The door between the two parts of the island shut, and shut hard, on it's own.
With a faint rumble, the island began to shake ever so slightly... Mickey would notice this most, what with how high up he is.
The sky itself was growing more and more bleak. The rift had grown to encompass almost all of the sky, and faint red and purple waves of energy could be seen flowing around in there.
And then, it froze.
As though someone had taken a picture, the Island itself suddenly gave up it's movement to the castle that truly dominated it. The flow of energy stopped, the wash of the ocean held fast, (though it didn't trap Dante), the wind no longer blew on any ears... it was like a photograph, all in all.
A remnant of a memory.

Heeding Dante's advice Mickey did hop over the plank that was set to give out if you walked on it and proceeded to the actual land at the other side. He felt the shaking and heard the slam. The whole world went.... blank.
"Molly? Rich!?"
He looked around, eyes and mouth cartoonishly wide. Gone. The Shadow was still unconscious in the King's arm but the other two just vanished. Mickey shook his head but he knew there was nothing he could have done if they just disappeared like that. If what that lady had said to him before was true then he didn't want Magus to somehow become a victim of it. His Majesty ran right up the ladder of the nearby tower and then hopped up over the main platform to the top of the roof. From there he looked around the whole back side of the island for any signs of life in this now death-like environment.
"MAAAAAGUUUUUUSSSSSS!!!!"

Dante froze in place, although not the same way as the island did. Everything stopped, even the wind that had continuously hit the faces of Dante's three friends and him alike. Everything seemed... Dead. This must've been what Destiny Islands was like when the Darkness took it over. Lifeless and tasteless; Nothing like the real Islands. The warrior climbed from his spot in the water and slowly made his way onto dry land, touching the ground with his hand.
The earth had no feeling. Well, of course you could feel it, but when you're born on a World, you become connected with it, though that connection is lost the older you grow. It stayed with Dante, though. Probably a side effect from the Darkness. When Dante placed his palm on the sand, the island showed no life or vitality. Everything was dead in this memory world. The end is near.
Mickey shouted for Magus, though he probably wasn't here. If he was, he would've found the two earlier. The time the four had spent on the island would've given Magus enough time to find them. He dreaded the idea of Magus being lost to the Castle, but he knew that the shadowmage was strong enough to fend for himself. "Where are you, Madam? Let me know. Your power may save me," Dante said in a whisper.
Silence. Nothing was heard from the old, vindictive witch. She was always nagging at his head, so where was she now? Enemy or not, he was still worried. She was his kill; the one he needed to take out to reclaim his life. Dante was the vindictive one. All he wanted was to kill her for the things she did to him. It was because of her that he was like this now...

Silence was Mickey's sole response.
The same was not true of Dante's silent call for help. "Hmph," echoed a voice in Dante's ear. "Why should I go about saving some old apprentice, hmm? There's certainly more of you where you came from..."A pause. She was thinking. "...your path won't change, I suppose." she mused. "You'll find me in due time, Dante.
I don't mind speeding up the process." [/center] <POWERFUL ENCOUNTER// Pokemon: Legendary Presence //Arr. by Erik McClure> With a faint hum, changes began on the small island. From the back, where the two heroes had entered, a wave of black came. Like some foul shadow, it went across from one end of the island to the other. In it's wake, it left a very changed island... ...one ruined by the darkness. A flat, circular expanse of sand, surrounded by nothing but empty air and the promise of a long fall, was all that remained of the island paradise. Foliage clipped up here and there, sure, but... all in all, this is what the posterboy for a doomed world would look like. Then time resumed. Wind blasted furiously through the air, plants barely hanging on for dear life, and the tremendous rip of darkness in the sky was almost upon the island. And yet... there was someone there. On the other side of the island, facing away from His Majesty and Dante, was most definitely a girl. A small mop of orange or dark red hair was saddled unceremoniously about her head, and it seemed to be fighting a loosing battle with the wind. She wore a green turtleneck, and jeans. And her name was Angeline Coble.

The Darkness engulfed the Island like food, sending them into a familiar scene. Dante was kneeling as he reappeared in the new scenery, shocked to still be alive. Madam... What did she mean by speeding up the process? Was he that close to her? This rose the Ex-Apprentice's hope a bit, not just because she wanted to meet him even quicker than ever, but because she was still there for a beating. This was turning out to be one heck of a trip.
He stood up and took a look around the remaining piece of the island, nodding. What caught his eye afterwards was a girl on the far side of the pillar, one that stole the warriors heart the moment his eyes caught the slightest glimpse of her. He couldn't begin to fathom why his memories had brought her up in such a dark moment, but it made him feel at ease. He took a step forward, wanting to call her name, but unable to. He was too shocked at the moment to be able to make any type of noise. He began to get faster in movement as he came closer before he finally got in to a half sprint. Then he stood behind her. She was so close to him now. He didn't want to watch her go like Rich and Molly did minutes ago. He had waited for two years to see her again and now she was standing before him. Reaching out to turn her around, Dante grasped her shoulder and called for her, desperate to see and hear her again. "Angeline!?"
